In Jp version, both maid and dragon form got different names, unrelated to their job, weird

@@lmoTK106 late af but their Japanese names are: -For the human forms, Related to their job (usually it's a Japanese pronunciation of an English word) -For the dragon forms, a German word related to their elements. (which I like more than the anagrams) Nurse: Nasary, Erde = Soil (earth) Kitchen: Tillroo (Stillroom which is basically a fancy kitchen), Flamme = Flame (fire) House: Hauskee (housekeeper), Strahl = Ray (light) Laundry: Laudry, Fluss = River (water) Parlor: Parla, Luft = Air (wind)

Nice guide! I play dragon maid and i'm plat 3 (mine was mostly filled with general staples, so it wasn't as effective as yours since i had no banish), will for sure try update it with some of the stuff you showed

I'm amazed I actually found a video that has comments from players who actually know how to play pure Dragonmaids, possibly with a splash of another archetype. I've been sharing my gameplays with a few Facebook communities and on my channel. I came to MD when it was referred to by one of my friends. I left Yugioh back in 2008 (MTG till now). Dragonmaid has been my main deck on the ladder since the Fusion Festival in 2022.

it's so satisfying to win with this deck, especially because you usually win with sheou and a full field of dragonmaids changing their forms which just destroy the enemy.

I run maids at plat 1 and from my experience we can beat anything but you need the dragon fusion out on your 1st turn. My problem with any other cards other than maids slow me down or brick me. Ima try yours and ill post pros and cons. As long as I can get chamber it should be good. Also I run welcome for infinite loop on tidying

That's a very interesting Dragonmaid deck you got, it looks really cool. I've started playing Master duel about almost a month now and Dragonmaids is my first deck I've built. Though I go with the negate route and red eyes. I recently manage to reach plat 5. I'm also thinking about adding Forbidden droplet, especially against Drytron decks since that is the one I'm having a hard time facing them.

@@SparadoTCG i play dragon decks like drytron blue eyes chaos max hybrid and dragon maid :) the first deck is just they are epic and i like blue eyes and drytron designs and for dragon maids.... Yeah thicc thighs i guess, and i guess you don't like blue eyes because you can't bypass that 4k untargetable and un destroyable beat stick :) or that chaos dragon who will make you're monster in def and make em 0/0 ;)

Great decklist! I personally run trap trick as another way to get out tidying as well as get out the appropriate normal trap if I know what my opponent is trying to do. There's definitely better traps I could run over it like rivalry but I love surprising my opponent with an impermanence, tidying or IDP

I use them with dragunity and rokket because they can combo special summoning themself, bypassing the maid weakness related to their normal summon at turn 1, but the deck have over 50 cards, the combo is insane , i can put sphere, Sheou and borrelsword savage with tiding at first turn with a good hand, the problem is the lacking of control if I'm searching specific card that are not dragon lol, such as harpie feather duster to destroy dimensional fissure for example, locking the grave is a huge pain for the maid.

@@stebanbas2 its very rare to get banished and if it does you have seals, the big dragons and trap cards. Personally I have yet to get mine banished. Also yeah idk why more decks aren't playing divine wrath its so good if you need extra/budget strikes

My chamber doesn't summon the fusions for some reason... I don't know why, the last 2 times I remember trying it since it was an available option, she couldn't pick neither Sheou nor House from the grave. I am quite confused about it since there was another time where I was able to do Sheou, so like, what??

The monster has to be properly fusion summoned first, so if you cheated out house with sheou's effect you won't be able to summon house back from the grave

Glad you like it! If you're running the trap build id go chalice just because it helps your traps break boards where an ash or a Maxx c wouldn't. But thats just my opinion

@@SparadoTCG I probably will. Cards like Torrential Tribute makes so much sense cuz you rarely lose momentum by wiping out your own board. With all the revives and form switching your gonna get your board back in no time. Don't have the resources to make all the cards I'm missing. But hey, that's master duel in a nutshell.

I’ve been playing this deck for the past couple days and have been bricked during the start of 2/3 of my matches, usually without even seeing a dragonmaid monster come into my hand the entire match, just tidying’s, hospitality’s, forbidden’s, nocto-dragons, etc. that I can’t use without a dragonmaid on the field Am I just getting very unlucky? It seems like a coinflip if this deck just loses automatically due to bricking

You're getting unlucky, but thats just an inherent problem with the deck. If you don't see a dragonmaid monster you aren't gonna be able to play. If you're having trouble seeing them I recommend swapping out the noctos for prosperity, or you could also add a 3rd kitchen

Just two suggestions, Koa'ki Meiru Drago and Amorphage Sloth off Spheres let's you stop special summoning light and dark monster or turn off the extra deck.

I can't believe you called kitchen one of the worst as she can easily grab either her level 8 or some other card you need(like nurse) and then throw away another card(like some high level you'll bounce back anyways). In comparison laundry just throws away 3 cards and can even get rid of spells you want like the one that increases the attack per dragonmaid and then can pull any dragonmaid spell or trap(or monster I guess) from the graveyard easily giving you setups or even 2 fusions in a single turn. I must also mention you should always use the high level dragon effects when possible/needed since they can be pulled back from the grave with ease. Except the red one is likely to be swapped unless your expecting to need its boost

I agree with Max C i don't like the card either, i don't like card that rely on my opponent stupidity in the first place because honestly, against a opponent with a brain Max C doesn't do anything, it's a dead card, either it got negated or the opponent just pass turn. And then what? Either if it get negated or the opponent pass, if you didn't have a good hand and used Max C to get draw you lost because because the opponent gave you nothing. If you had a good hand well good for you, you're not the only one to have hand trap or other cuck card in the deck, once you got ash/nibiru/solemn/any other cuck card you lost. I laugh when i see Max C because i just set my cuck cards, keep my Ash/Nibiru in my hand and cuck my opponent turn, then my next turn i can do what i would have done and depending if he have a Ash or anything i win, his Max C was useless. I rather put card that synergize with my deck to improve the consistency or hand trap/trap that have a way bigger impact instead of 3 useless Maxx C who would be dead card 90% of the time, specially in that meta. I feel like a lot of people are overrating that card because it's win some very rare duel on it's own because you drew 20 card but that the only kind of duel that Maxx C make you win. Just make you're opponent pass his turn will not make you win, that actually pretty bad because he still have everything in hand, Ash/Nibiru will give you a way higher chance to win that this because you're opponent will use his ressources and you cuck him. And even if because of that you otk you're opponent after you make the opponent pass, you didn't won because of Max C, you won because he didn't have any hand trap or solemn/evenly/any trap to cuck you, replace Maxx C with Ash/Imperm/Nibiru and you would also have won because you would have cuck their combo and end their turn, actually would have been better because you would made them use ressource.

Kitchen is not the worst Dragonmaid. Not only does she search Dragonmaid Monsters and do graveyard set up, she's also the same element as Tinkhec for Hospitality usefulness. But also, Laundry Exists. And milling three is great in some decks, but Dragonmaids don't want some things in grave and only wants others in grave sometimes so Laundry is a pain to make effective use of. EDIT: also, Striker is an SR and does nothing Pisty doesn't in Pure Dragonmaids so if you aren't running Dragonlink I'm really not sure why you'd run three Strikers when Pisty has the potential to occasionally actually use it's effect.

Something I'm testing right now is mixing invoked shaddoll with dragonmaid. Yet to truly do a match but I feel it may work since all 3 like to pull more of their own cards often. Basically adding extreme power with flips/discarded by effect. Or whatever that one is. Kinda makes laundry dragonmaid worth the risk. Also Shaddoll loves being a control deck which yes you will weaken by not running Winda but you'll be left with comfortable counters to almost every deck.

I never understood why people play multiple Striker Dragons but only 1 Pisty. I saw that in a lot of different dragon maid decks. They both have the same requirements and pretty much the same purpose but Pisty also triggers Noctovision and has that optional effect that comes up in some situations. It's also R instead of SR. So why would you ever play Striker Dragon over Pisty?
