I run a shellback banshee, I was directed towards it by my brother it’s what he runs in the army. It fits me perfectly and it has some quality of life things I wanted. I wanted to run side plates just a personal preference the extra weight sucks but I ruck with it every chance I get. I appreciate your wisdom I like taking advice from lots of different people and your approach on physical fitness I think makes a lot of sense. Strong people are hard to kill. I started watching the SERE series I find it very interesting and informative.

I’m running a HRT RAC and you’re 💯% correct about wearing your kit more than just a couple minutes on the range. After wearing mine for just eight hours in Florida in August during training I must say SUCKS! I have great respect for the men & women that wear them in the field day in and day out. Love my chest rig 👍👍!

Thanks for the quick rundown on this. I had no idea Enlightened Equipment had a sister company that produced this type of stuff. Another company to consider when I’m in the market to upgrade my current carrier.

I've got a few plate carriers and a few chest rigs all of which carry six 30 round rifle magazines and three pistol magazines along with water, IFAK, comm, etc.

Maybe I have my nostalgia glasses on, but I liked the IBA. It is true that my tactical tailor backpack I had wasn't comfortable with the IBA, but it was tolerable with my eagle industries maritime I had on my 2nd deployment. Now I have a Lancer tactical knockoff of the Travis Hailey flat pack, and I like that with the the Army surplus IBA I got. "This is brilliant...but I like this"

I just received a government overrun plate carrier from Botach, as red as a fire engine. Got it for SAR duty for a mere $60, but it's gonna need a Qore iceplate because it doesn't have any venting material and if it's a hot day, I'll need the cold from the ice plate to keep the fatigue at bay. Lots of molle front & back!

Love my onetigris stuff. And I’m running a Condor gen 2 PC. Gotta budget carefully when you’re lethally poor. Even with that it’s better that the shit I had during Panama and the first GW.

I have a ferro slickster, ferro fcpcv5, and spuritus lv119. The fcpc is the most comfortable by far. Especially with the ferro 3a side armor panels and axl equinox cummerbund.

I see you carried a couple carbonation filled tactical explosive devices or B.E.E.R.S (Battlefield Enhanced Explosive Release Shell) on your carrier.....They appear to be the newest "Lite" model for reduced carry weight

I'd like to know why you'd run a plate carrier vs a chest rig, from your perspective and experience.
@briangrant20054 ай бұрын
I feel like my Marine Friend and his Brother who was Army called your inability to put the plate on the table a "Field Adjustment". Please confirm this is true! I also have a OneTigris Chest Rig, and found a OneTigris Plate Carrier that has "similar" characteristics to your PC, but its full elastic; sadly no opportunity to add Molle stuff on the sides, but quite comfortable on runs.

@@ozarkman291 night vision. Thermal is for finding and fixing the target. Basically this can be done with one guy in the group. Everyone needs NV for the last F at night. If you understand the jargon. If you do not have night vision, you do not get out of your hole at night.

@@sullathehutt7720 he fact that they make just slight enough changes with their LBT line to actually be affordable is pretty awesome also. I’ve had the LBX 6094 and it’s on its second owner (my buddy) and it’s literally not much different than it was the day I bought it new. Bomb proof. I’m running a Warrior Assault Systems covert right now. They’re a British company that’s using all our materials. Basically a British slickster.
