Outstanding info! Check out the K-19 plate carrier from Agilite. By far the most comfortable plate carrier I've ever worn, even all loaded down for a few days down range.

m81 is OK as a functional camo, but skews really dark. It's competing more with something like flecktarn. It's going to work best in European forests, pacific northwest, and some dense/dark jungles. It's serviceable on the US east coast, but will work better with some wash cycles to desaturate the color a bit. My biggest problem with dark patterns is that it will almost always be significantly too dark when used indoors. m81 is absolutely great drip though, that plate carrier looks great.

Very good points! Love Flecktarn too my 2 favorite patterns! I really appreciate it, thank you for watching!⚡️

@@TapRackTyler Most give very little consideration to how a camo will work against interior paint. Almost all interior paint is a light color.

@@mrpatriot76 yea absolutely brother I had some black kit too just sticks out like a sore thumb, glad to hear the plates are solid too! Have you thought about spray painting your carrier? Love the PNW man and m81 is the way to go up there for sure! I rock more more multi cam and some AOR1 every now and then, more desert patterns being down here in so cal.

@@TapRackTyler I’ve thought about it but haven’t painted anything yet not even my rifle sadly honestly don’t even know where to start to try to get an M81 look I know I’d probably have to rough it up with sandpaper or something so the paint would stick I’ve watched maybe 2 videos about painting bags/carries even a black/green would work better.

He seems to be confusing Level 3A, Level 3, and Level 4 plates. I've never seen a 3A plate that will stop 5.56, so he seems to be describing a Level 3 plate, which generally stops intermediate cartridges.
@TapRackTyler8 ай бұрын
I believe he said he has done it himself, but the company can not say that legally. I have seen his video doing it on his KZbin channel as well. The plate was a pistol rated plate and it definitely stopped a 5.56 and more.
