Hi, Saiyam your content is really amazing. can you please make a video about how one should choose between so many fields of tech like DevOps, programming, cybersecurity, NOC, etc. & what is the correlation between these all tech fields like what a day-to-day job of any of these fields look like? @@kshindi That is true but I think we should also make some classifications as to what is a beginner, intermediate or advanced. What projects are needed to transition from beginner to intermediate level. What skills are needed from the roadmap to make small projects at respective levels. I think that can help in gamifying the learning process and help reduce imposter syndrome.

A lot of overlap in learning PE people are mix of Devops, Golang engineers etc, SRE are more of modern sysadmins for cloud native apps, Devops is managing the CICD from the project automation and also automating all things .

Hi Saiyam! Really appreciate the efforts you have put in to make the explanation so simple that a newbie would easily get it. I have one doubt which is exposing APIS, making frontend and other things on the platform would require development knowledge. So should an existing devops engineer learn these skills or will the company make an existing/ new dev to collaborate with a devops engineer to develop the IDP. Thank you.

Many devops engineers have the dev knowledge but in this case it might be different also like your devs and devops engineers might be termed as platform engineers. Also if you acquire the programming knowledge then you increase your domain of getting selected easily
