I know, I know, I promised myself not to buy any new craft supplies until I completely used up my stash....but I didn't buy paper, so baby steps!!! LOL!!!

This is the 2nd video I've watched on assembling this die cut, and I can honestly say yours is so much easier to understand! I was confused by the first one but you explain things in a way I get - thank you for that! While I don't have the patience (or need) for this pop-up die set, I found so many other Lawn Fawn dies and paper I "needed" and your links are almost too convenient! LOL Looking forward to my free gift from Lawn Fawn with this order (and appreciated the free shipping). Thanks again for another fantastic video!!

These cards are so stinking cute!!!! I can't wait to make my first one next week as I have my die set ordered. I want to make a Happy Birthday card with all the flowers for my dear friend who turned 79 this past Christmas. We always seem to have to wait to celebrate as she had a hip replacement 2 years ago and now a knee replacement last month. Oh well, it makes one's birthday last longer! LOL. Thank you for the great tutorial. I made Karen Burniston's 3 layer pop up birthday cake card for one of my granddaughters in October; and, she was just thrilled with it, so this should be a snap. Take care...

Oh Jennifer! I will have to watch this video several times so I can assemble the platform correctly. Right now, I'm having a hard time paying attention as I'm sitting here cracking up watching and listening to you put this platform together. Every time you refer to the main piece as the "head and shoulders", all I can "hear" is the T.V. commercial advertising "Head and Shoulders Shampoo"! I admit, the piece DOES look like a head with shoulders! I'll also admit I have a very dry sense of humor and something as simple as your "head and shoulders" description sets me on a laughing spell! This looks like a fun die I can't live another day without! It will be so fun sending this "card" to people! TFS!

Waiting for my dies to arrive! Can't wait and you have great ideas! Can't wait to play and try things. Now I need the sun and cloud dies! :o) The die that looks like a little road that you held up to a tab is actually the ribbon for the bow. It has an embossed line for it to fold around the corners in the front and back of the box.

I was surprised by how affordable the basic die set is. I was thinking it would be $45+ I already have several of Lori Whitlock’s Silhouette files that make a hexagonal platform pop-up. But I really liked the example with the flowers; great idea. My dad is recovering from bypass surgery and I think a platform card is perfect for cheering up his hospital room. I like to send men leaves. They usually get a chuckle out of an arrangement of just leaves. My dad loves eucalyptus so a pop-up card with a bunch of eucalyptus leaves would be perfect. There are pop-up channels on KZbin that will teach you how to make pop-up platform cards without dies or cut files if you’d like to try it before purchasing a die.

With my Tiny Friends stamps, I took the time to number the stamps on the acetate they are mounted on, and numbered the dies accordingly. It takes time, but well worth it to do only once, rather than try to match the dies every time I cut them.
