@@Chrisinsocal I like platinum also but where I live my LCS generally pays under spot and I’m not sure how easily they sell on eBay…have you ever had a problem selling for at least spot? Until I figure out an exit strategy for platinum where I don’t loose my ass I’m too novice to pull the trigger!

You seem pretty cool man; got a good head on your shoulders. I’m a Pt guy, hands down. I don’t care if it goes down to $600 an Oz…but it’s probably heading to $1600. I don’t care if it hovers around $900…it’s still the sexiest mainstream metal; it’s hard AF, doesn’t tarnish…The market is foolish; Pt is far, far rarer than gold. Mene is awesome! The narrow octagon pinky ring I just love! Someday I’m gonna get a 3 Rouple coin in Pt. It is the only coin that was put into circulation. I got a 1/10 oz Kook and a Koloa in the last two months…very cool. It is a shame they have the Queen on the front…😐 Good content.😀

I'm in the same boat as you.. But, Platinum makes more sense than gold right now.. So I buy 1 to 2 1/10 coins of platinum a month and I also try to get 2 to 3 of the 2 oz silver coins ( mainly from Royal Canadian Mint)... My plan is to keep stacking platinum till it doesn't make sense anymore.. I don't plan on selling until closer to 2030 - 2032 time frame.. 😎✌️

I started buying platinum in the last month.. Just small dca's.. I plan on buy platinum & 2 oz coins that I think will resell at a higher price down the road.. to be honest I'm kind of scared by Platinum but it makes more sense than gold.. I think that fear uncertainty and doubt come from a place like you mentioned in this video.. So I just bite the bullet and hope I'm doing the right thing.. Don't plan on selling anytime soon.. but I do have to say you have one of the best collections of kookaburras I've ever seen... they're my favorite and I wish I could afford more of them at once especially the ones with the privy Mark.. anyways thanks for your time.. 😎✌️

Thank YOU for watching! I think platinum represents a good buy, it may not get the hype until it jumps in price but it is extremely well recognized as an asset and very desirable. Dollar cost averaging like you said you’re doing is the right way to go about it

That 1/3 penguin is indeed cool. I passed on them once and kinda regret that.... Personally I have much love for platinum, probably for two reasons, one is biased based on my personal experience, my first exposure to platinum was back when the pt was king in price so I always just feel its under valued and second the contrarian in me says buy whats out of favor. My PT stack is small but I add to it when I find deals.

I do have a few ounces of Platinum, and I want more. It is so dense, it is difficult for them to make coins. I think the price is cheap because it looks so similar to Silver, it doesn't really look special.

Precious metals are stacked because they have a high value-per-ounce. Platinum and palladium have never been "monetised" in the way that gold and silver have been.

The guy who convinced the mints to produce platinum/palladium coins and bars for private investors/stackers must have been promoted 🙂 These are industrial metals with prices driven solely by industrial demand and the industry is working hard to replace these rare metals with something cheaper. The real downside investing in platinum/palladium bullion is that only very few LCS's will buy it when you want to sell.

Order 10000 from sd the shipping all confused, extra dates, shipped 200 mi out of way, once at local ship it took 6 days for it to get it. ordered on the 5 th Finley got it today, The f x guy ran away before I could inspect package, the package looks opened sloppy rewrapped. I not gonna open..SD not overly concerned , any suggestions?

If you paid via credit card or PayPal I’d notify them right away! Once they are notified I’d send it back to SD at their expense. That’s ridiculous

I think the only current use for platinum is as a catalyst on the large industrial stage. Since it was replaced the price has fallen dramatically, but I heard they might switch back so it might be a good time to get done exposure

That penguin is hot. It's a shame that they only make high premium 1/10th platinum fractional coins nowadays (Britannia). I think the mints are missing a trick here for that middle ground price point temptation. 1/4, 1/3rd of an oz or even 1/2 an ounce, which at the current price would be attractive sizes at a tempting price.

Mined Platinum that you can actually buy is 30x rarer than gold but in the ground, slightly less rare than gold. All the mined platinum would fit in a garage sized area that is 2 stories tall.

Platinum is much rarer than gold. There's 5 billion ounces of gold above ground. There's only 200 million ounces of platinum above ground.
