"Commerce & Chaos" (2x31)
Jester scouts out the temples to all the other gods in Zadash, memorizing the schedules of the guards and priests, and planning to desecrate them. She enlists Nott's help to do so. Jester decides to mess with the Platinum House, since it's close to the bathhouse. She asks for help from Nott. Disguised as the Herald of the House Kumas and an elderly gnomish woman, Jester and Nott approached the temple. They successfully tell the patrons and caretakers to clear the chambers and Jester climbs the statue of The Platinum Dragon. She paints the statue with rainbow colors to get a Technicolor vomit nightmare. When she begins adding a mustache, a group of people approach and she flees with the help of Duplicity, instigating a chase with five Crownsguard and two members of the church. While Jester hides in a storage room, Nott is captured in Otiluke's Resilient Sphere. When the crownsguard try to arrest Nott, Nott escapes, and Jester escapes the storage room. This reminds me of my Kobold Paladin "Pelius the Blue". He was a conquest paladin of Tiamat and he was a very good boy. His holy symbol was a medieval macaroni arts-n-crafts of a rainbow Chinese dragon. In one of the places of worship he went to they had coloring books so I looked for ones of the platinum dragon and ahem “filled in the missing color” and may have left my own hand made children book about how great mother Tia was.

He is also the patron of metallic dragons which are the good dragons that don't want to kill people all the time. Then there is his arch-enemy, Tiamat The Scaled Tyrant, she is the lawful evil dragon deity and has five heads each of which representing one of the main chromatic colors of evil dragons (Red, White, Green, Blue, and Black) her actual body being red. Their laws are basically Bahamut: Be good and honarable, destroy evil, defend the weak. Tiamat: Horde all the gold you can, steal all you can from the weak, forgive nothing ever

You expect the Platinum Dragon to be cruel enough to send his people against a ROGUE ARCHFEY over a prank? XD That would be as good as killing them. Keep in mind that everyone else may not know who the Traveler is, but the Gods would. An archfey loose on the Material plane is scary stuff, and Jester may actually be useful in curbing him as he does genuinely care for her. If anything the Platinum Dragons eye may be on her, but probably not in a negative light, believe it or not.

@@Neuviletteiudexofmemes Bahamut is not the one I would worry about starting the war, it would be the followers who are probably worried about a cult of Tiamat. The public word may have been an anti-religious cabal, but I bet you that the followers of the Platinum Dragon have other theories. The war is a worst case scenario, the main point of these followers popping up would be the ramifications of one religious group slighting another, especially when it looks like the sworn enemy of the group being pranked performed the vandalism. Jester may be doing work to curb the other followers of the Traveler, but that doesn't change that she may have nearly started a crusade that would endanger the lives of the Platinum Dragon's followers, all for a chuckle for Artagan. That would need to be addressed as a "prank that may have had some bad context."

And the Platinum Dragon would know EXACTLY what happened and what would happen if they tried to attack, or piss off, a loose Archfey. It wouldn't be a "War". Something like Artagan would be a horrific enemy. Sure you can take his "followers" but Fey hold grudges, like Millenia long grudges, over inconsequential shit, and it's been established that he actually cares for Jester. Like, he might not care for anything other then himself, but he cares for Jester. Something like that could END a religion. Artagan is totally capable of murdering, one by one, every single one of his followers. There's no way in hell a God would let that get off the ground over something so inconsequential, especially when Jester may be the one hope for turning Artagan into a force for good.

It just starts off with some paladins and clerics rolling up and just going "So... what was with the whole temple vandalism thing?" Explanation is something the people would want, if nothing else. Absolutely would Bahamut not want to make a rising archfey upset, but he also cares about his followers, they deserve some resolution on all this. Artagan's rise would also leads to a new opportunity. With gods having confirmed to be real, a sort of diplomacy is no doubt struck between various faiths, and with an up and coming one, the Platinum Dragon would probably like to see what is going on, what their intentions are, and if interests align, how they can maybe work together. It would also juxtapose Artagan's claims that none of the gods care about their followers, and force him to really look at his new followers as more than something he can dump on themselves. Wanting to make bad people's days worse is well within Bahamut's wheelhouse of things he likes, so I doubt anything would come to a head, but shenanigans would absolutely occur when it first seems like the cops are coming to bust the party, when really it's just some people wanting answers too. That's probably another aspect Artagan wouldn't have thought about, having to handle how his faith interacts with others.

Had to come back to your videos to cheer myself up! I also just realized part of why I laugh so much is not only because your animation is so insanely clever, but it also slightly reminds me of the way cut scenes in the computer game Spy Fox in "Dry Cereal" were done (one of my favorite games as a kid).
