lower rank games are unpredictable, high level games are all about outplaying your oponent, there are only X possible plays from a position and if you predict it you win. In lower ranked games people do random stuff you never expect and it becomes a game of who has the better reaction time or who gets luckier with the spray.

@@SorinPetrov This, added also with more "bad" movement which normally would put you at more risk; more time is spent at lower ranks practicing how to reliably either stop-shoot or just getting lucky and spraying your general direction, while also over-peeking/swinging. It's just so hard to go back to lower ranks once you get used to a certain playstyle. Especially if you try to apply the same mindset. It's just interesting to see how steeply it changed from plat to dia to imm to rad.

My theory is that in the plat range you have people who excel in certain facets of the game (whether that be aim, utility, game knowledge) but haven't been able to put it all together to push into the higher ranks yet where you need to have a full rounded skill set. This is coming from a G2-Plat who has widely inconsistent aim loooool

For consistency in aim, lowering my sens helped a lot. I went from 900 edpi to 700 to 550, etc down to 240. Just a suggestion from a fellow plat noob. Something about using my arm instead of wrist feels better.

Platinum ranks in most games become elo hell. You have soooo many players trying their absolute hardest to rank up so most games go to decider rounds and your win or loss basically becomes a coin toss. Im speaking from experience not in Valorant but as a plat siege, starcraft 2,splitgate player. I usually just stop trying after a while cause it's just too hair pulling and gets me raging so hard.

Not really, at the end of the day in those silver and iron ranked games if you have good aim and does not get overconfident when winning you can get out of there easy, like come on you've already said it, there are wiffers, troller's and the run and gun's they are in your team, but hey are on their team as well, everysingle low elo is just about how good you are individually and if you have an optimal mental to carry a game, while everysingle high elo games are about the strategy and communication as a team, since everyone is expected to be a beast in terms of aim already.

Radiant is between Diamond and Immortal. Radiant are getting higher and lower... Sometimes they get pushed and sometimes thy push others in their lobbys. But in Diamond the trash matchmaking kicks in for sure. There are so many pushes people and less good one's, which makes urself belive that ur radaint. U can't even discribe these lobbys.

I peaked as an Immortal player and currently Dia and I don't know why people seem to think that Radiants and Immortals are so much better and so impossible to beat, that even a Silver can't beat a Dia/Immo player.
