You NEED to react to what became Tim's tribute to his dad, NY Mets pitcher, Tug Mc Graw. The story behind the song "LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DYING" is a tearjerker. Tim didn't meet his dad until he was a young teen. Tug couldn't deny Tim was his son; they looked so much alike! Tug succumbed to brain cancer at 59, and Tim & his wife Faith Hill were there for him until the end, taking care of ALL his medical expenses. This is probably one of his most memorable songs to date. Get out the Kleenex. 😢❤

This song was written by Lori McKenna and it was specifically for her children. She wants them to live by these principles.

Love this song. My favorite line is ‘know the difference in sleeping with someone and sleeping with someone you love’. Seems like very few know that there is a difference.

Maybe you could listen to Tim's "Live Like You Were Dying". An amazing song....Also "If You're Reading This" by Tim is a great one as well.

I sure wish you'd watch the official video and take us along for that. It makes the song even more impactful. I know that some folks have mentioned this, but I want to reiterate that in country music, the official video tells the actual story that sometimes can be missed or not realized when watching a live performance. I'd love to see your reaction to the actual video...we won't care that you've just heard the song!!

I made this same comment on Martina's Concrete Angel - with country music and they story telling you have to watch the official video ! the videos bring the song to life ! you are really doing yourself a disservice by not reacting to the official video when available. Re do both of these with the official video.

My mom's mantra to me was always " Don't be ugly, Judy." I have a genetic condition that shows in my appearance. I've had say some NASTY things to me. I hear voice every single time, telling me to not be ugly. I try desperately to live up to her expectations. This disease took my son's life. I may look ugly, but my heart isn't.

I know my mom in 2011 got me a Nintendo 3ds and she went to get it fixed right before our trip to Disney World I was a make a wish kid and when my mom reached for her Wallet the guy said I'm not charging you just have fun in Disney World. A few years ago I stopped at a gas station with my dad and didn't have money to pay for our drinks and the person in line behind me said I'll pay for that and I'm like well guess there are still good people in the world
