Honestly Abbadon is pretty much the perfect slave to Chaos and symptom of the Imperiums decay. War is all he knows, he is not a builder, artist, diplomat, healer etc. No, just a warrior and warriors would exist as a means to an end not the end itself. As bad as the Emperors treatment of the Thunder Warriors was understandably as to why he wanted to scrap them and perhaps even the astartes afterwards as well. They would only be focused on war and Abbadon is just that, a tool. In every sense of the word. Every bit of good deed such as his honor, martial prowess and deeds are twisted and perversed even his good deed of preserving and cleaning Sigismund’s bifurcated body reeks of self interest and praise like a child of Fulgrim. In the end Abbadon is evil because he cares only about war and not one wit about anyone or anything else. Horus was the better man because he still cared about Humanity’s ascension but by his own standards which got corrupted and worsened by his fall to Chaos.

Bro completely misinterpreted why Abaddon shipped Sigismund back to Terra 💀 They had a 1-v-1 that was extremely close even though Abaddon was juiced up on Chaos and Sigismund was old. However, even though he ended up killing him, Abaddon held an extremely high regard for Sigismund as a warrior and sent his body back to Terra as a show of respect.

Long time watcher of the WoW channel and of 40k. I've played Black Legion on the tabletop for a few years now too. This video slaps. There's basically no 40k YT lore content that actually addresses the Legion Wars or the Battle for Cantacle City, and it's just so cool to see these brought up, and not only that, but with the level of production quality on offer. I really like that for a given video you essentially side with who you're talking about, like with this one and with the Ultramarines one. You really get into the "Black Legion kicking ass" feeling in this one, where a lot of others wouldn't give them that credit. It helps highlight the subjective nature of the setting, I think. Plenty of people would laugh at the fact that Abaddon couldn't take Cadia without destroying a Black Fortress, but you (rightly) point out that he destroyed the planet by THROWING A DAMN FORTRESS AT IT

I love seeing how you, Platinum, transitioned to Warhammer content with time, the way I had it and I guess many other people as well. Warcraft was amazing and it was, at some point, a better more modern and much more amazing clone of Warhammer, until... Well, you know. The style you're doing is great! Though the models themselves look kind of blurry and lacking in detail, that's not really that big of a deal. However, while the color on the models probably stand out a lot better in reality, they look kind of muted and sometimes barely visible. If it is possible to increase the contrast in whatever software you use, I think that would ultimately make the models stand out much more! That, or it's something to do with the lighting.
