Actually! I have a confusion. What you said, you make baser instincts and emotions same but in republic.... I think these three things are rational, desires (emotions) and passion or spirit... ye dono passion pr influence krte , tou insan me jo zyada strong uski trf passion jata like jese khte ke ik philosopher me rationality zyada ha islie uska passion bi help krta rationality pursue krne me or dusri trf agr rationality weak ha jo ultimately dominance of desires bnta ha tou passion bi desires pursue krne me help out krta ...

It is Greatest book for mankind. Krishna is also religion neutral in Gita.
