I really want to thank you for your great work and everything you do here on KZbin. It's incredibly interesting and easy to understand. You're one of my favorite KZbin creators, I'm very glad that I've found your videos. It's not about this video specifically, but everything that you do, this one just happened to be the latest at the time I'm writing the comment. I'm a linguistics student from Moscow and at my university everyone has to study Latin in the first year. The method of teaching is not very efficient, and that makes everyone hate Latin. Not just other students, every professor talks about learning Latin as if it is a torture too. I found your channel while i was studying Latin at university and that made such a great difference. After reading Famila Romana i was able to understand simple texts with no problem, and easily passed the exam that was so difficult for others. AND I loved Latin. I am still interested in it, it's been 3 months since the exam and I want to continue study Latin just because it's so wonderful. My friends don't understand me, I am very sorry for the fact that this is the way they got acquainted with Latin. Thank you so much!

Χαῖρε καὶ salvē, amīce! I'm deeply flattered by your kind words, thank you. I hope you continue with Latin (and maybe Ancient Greek too!). They're a truly fascinating and deeply enjoyable journey, and it's worth every step's effort. I recommend continuing with the other textbooks in the LLPSI series, like the supplements and ROMA AETERNA. There are so many, it will take you years of enjoyable reading to finish them all! Steadman also has quite a lot of Latin commentaries in the same style ( which he calls Pharr-formatted after Clyde Pharr, whose editions of Homeric Epics and Aeneid are edited in that way). He also generously provides free pdfs of the books and worksheets in his website (though I’d recommend buying to support his work. )
