Thank you for doing this...I often find myself toggling between Hellenistic and Evolutionary schools of thought while interpreting transits. As a practitioner that uses evolutionary astrology as a foundation, one of the main differences I toggle between is whole sign houses and non-whole-sign houses. Hellenistic uses whole-sign but both evolutionary astrology readings I've had use different systems. Whenever I ask about the use of non-whole-sign houses systems from those who use whole-sign houses, many times, I feel like I'm getting scoffed at when really, I'm just trying to reconcile their interpretations. I really feel like you can get a more complete picture through the consideration of both, especially when considering various progressions. Just my take on it. Thanks again for doing this, Guys! ✨

Wow I am only 38 mins in you have opened a can of worms for me that I did not realize about my south node. It is in Cancer conjunct Saturn and square Pluto. Everything you both are saying is so true for me but with a Cancer/Capricorn opposition. Ha... and what planet is at the 29th degree of Capricorn....PLUTO. Gotta love that!!! Ah... universe... you work in such beautiful magical and mysterious ways in which I am so grateful for all your lessons. Thank you!!! 🙏💜🙏

Personal experience: If our desire is included through the "known" or "recognized" and which turns out to be not only a painful process but a pattern, then we gather knowledge as a maintenance technique and consciously cut off the head of the desire, in order to avoid pain. No, it's not worth it and there's no point in repeating mistakes. Desire sometimes occurs but mental peace is achieved as well as freedom from pain. Substitutions are possible. Mercury on the S Node exactly, 11 house Sagittarius 5 degrees. Thank you both (partially followed work earlier).

The story with the deer is what I most resonated with, and will most take away with in my understanding of the nodes, so beautiful. The initial trauma with the lion, feels like mars in cancer, the wound that begins the journey.

I hope there’s more episodes like this in the future. Since part one I suddenly remembered out of nowhere that the system I’ve been studying describes a world that’s very accurately described in the movie Cloud Atlas. I suppose the generic term would be esoteric Christianity, but the movie aligns almost exactly with that view on reincarnation, karma, karmic relationships, etc. it end does well with that systems time cycles as some of it happens in what’s called a moon age, then sun age, the last timeline is the Saturn age. (The time cycles are the days of the week backwards: Monday, Sunday, Saturday) Hugo Weaving actually plays what’s referred to as “Ahriman” in the last timeline. You also have the “spirits of love and freedom” as the actual theme of said movie. Of course, I then stumble on many others about different topics. Then I coincidentally stumbled on radio shows that had the psychiatrist that accidentally stumbled on past life regression in hypnosis sessions which has some fascinating topics and says the same things. Though, there is a different system used in this one to read past lives, it uses sidereal and traditional eastern systems; that doesn’t take away from accuracy in evolutionary. They used both sidereal and tropical but found more accuracy in sidereal using the systems at that time. (1800’s and earlier) But it’s always interesting to hear about different approaches and I’ve been wanting to learn more about this specific branch. Thanks for the episode(s).

Mark Jones once described the SN as your carry-on luggage. You need it for the trip, don't want to leave it behind.

Years ago I had a reading with Michael Lutin, he used few words. He said I had a quite professional chart and didn't need any advice. After about 20 mins he said well that's about it. Short and crisp, rather like his words on the nodes. Guess it is just his MO!

Saturn on NN in Aries 8H here. The solar eclipse in April was right on top of them along with it being a nodal return eclipse. I am SO flipping grateful for this session today! It's taken several hours to work through as I have been getting hit with insights and several moments of, "oh, holy shyt." I've struggled to understand some of this placement as that 8th house can be a serious pain in the butt. Aspecting Saturn/NN is an inconjunct to Pluto 1H and a trine to Jupiter in Leo 12H. The cazimi in Leo in August was within 6 minutes of natal Jupiter. It's felt like being in the spotlight of an interrogation, doused with gasoline while holding a lit match and hit with a laser. I'm all for enlightenment and my soul's evolution but not a lifetime crammed into a few months. Like several others in the comments, I'm heading into my Saturn return in Aries. I recognize and can acknowledge the lessons from my first one. It's my understanding Saturn lessons get easier with age. Is this true in EA regarding Saturn conjunct NN? I'm looking forward to the rest of the series with Ari Moshe! Appreciating you both! ❤❤

In just means your evolutionary journey is strongly focalized through that Saturn NN. So the lessons of mastery that come w Saturn are core for you. We don’t “learn” the same lesson twice once learned. So in that sense it could get easier if you’ve done the work to be a “good learner”. So Saturn is just about ongoing maturation and growing into different phases of mastery w time if we’re doing the work.

Loved this! Question: What if the native has planets in the same sign as the nodes but separated by 10° or more. Do you still consider this a conjunction??
