I'm glad you enjoyed it! Plave is actually doing quite well in Korea. They've sold over a million albums and have entered the billions club on melon. The songs and choreography were made by the members themselves. The producers are yejun, noah and eunho while the choreographers are bamby and hamin. The members use motion capture, but the images are generated in real time, so it isn't animated afterwards. This is how they do livestreams and perform at concerts. But I think that for mvs, they do some touch ups to make sure it looks perfect. They currently have 3 mvs out. Wait for you (debut song) and way 4 luv were filmed using mocap but the sixth summer was animated. They have a new song coming out on the 20th. It's a song that they made on the spot during a livestream. The people at the end are most likely the villains. After this dropped, they had a concert performance where hamin fought someone called caligo. The lore is interesting so I recommend getting into it if you're into that sort of stuff.

While they dont use VR headsets, their tracking tech is very impressive. They also use Unreal Engine. Most of their music videos are also Mocap plus some animation touch up. They also live stream at least twice a week in their Mocap. Their company is in fact a tech company and they provide all the tracking tech and graphic designing while the members of Plave themselves take care of the music (because we've seen first hand on their live streams that their company doesn't really know music when Noah sent them the wrong audio file and they just played it during the live stream without knowing it was wrong lol) The members will always be in their own avatars and they don't use stunt doubles for themselves because they want to perfectly embody their personalities and their avatars are specially attuned to their proportions.
