Hey again, Ryan. Interesting video. It really plays into your fundamental of "know thy map". When I get into a rough spot in games, I usually return to the fundamentals, and think "which fundamental aspect did I not adhere to?". And this leads me to a general question I have for you; how would you classify these fundamentals for each class? I'm thinking back to your previous videos, where you talk about another fundamental that is "pick your fights". You don't use those exact words yourself, but you talk about picking certain rooms or areas to fight in - areas where you have the advantage. And from there, you want to take apart the opponent, bit by bit, until you reach what I'd call a "go for the kill"-phase. How do you break down your class and determine which areas are best for you? Anyway, I've done some thinking, and I have a few ideas for possible topics for you to dive into. Firstly, there's sound. And I mean general sounds. I did some extensive testing on the subject, and I think it's worth highlighting, because awareness of different sounds can help you pinpoint peoples locations. What we did was a custom game, where we'd find the ranges of each weapon and skill in the game. Everything has a sound. Even crouch walking. But the distance you can hear it from varies extensively. I think that could be an interesting topic to cover, to create some awareness. Secondly, a combat movement video could prove to be very useful for many. As we've discussed previously, you can dodge different attacks and abilities. Knowing just when to crouch, when to space and when to close distance could make all the difference in the world. It could also cover some advanced movement, such as getting past shields as a dagger rogue (you can charge-strike to the right of a shield holder, and turn mid-air to stab them in the back). Thirdly, I could definitely see a fundamentals video work. Not only would it help beginners, but it'd also help more experienced players learn to stay in shape, when it comes to their fundamental game. In the words of Michael Jordan: “The minute you get away from fundamentals - whether its proper technique, work ethic or mental preparation - the bottom can fall out of your game, your schoolwork, your job, whatever you’re doing.” Anyway, apologies for the short story I've handed you here. And I don't expect anything of you in regards to my suggestions. But I think that you have a great channel, with a unique angle to the game, that I haven't found elsewhere. So as I've said before, I'd love to see it grow! Happy hunting, Ryan!

always glad to hear your feedback man very good questions here i have thought about a topic for this that applies to everything in gaming and in life really in my head iv been thinking of it as "variable learning" real life has an endless amount of variables but in games its a lot simpler more variables is always better as it makes the skill ceiling taller. its like chess to checkers you want a game to feel like your playing chess. for example you know the classes have different places they can go depending on their movement speed and abilities that effect "where they can go" dealing damage is another variable and we can draw a connecting line from dealing damage to weapons and from dealing damage to spells and another line from dealing damage to setting traps with mobs but then all those things have lines and variables also we can think of variables as questions and a big thing that determines who gets better at somthing is the one who asks the most questions and specifically the one who gets the most correct answers to those questions. anyway as i develop a good way to explain that probly with pictures in paint or somthin haha ill be making a video on this eventually because this is what iv done for the stuff iv done and its helped alot but everyone can be looking at the game like this and they will improve very deliberately and quickly ill be thinking about a fundamental's video always good to hear from you ill be thinking about these things alot thank you!

why do you run double staff instead of ice dagger to kite? also, why dont you spam instant fireball? you always seem to charge it up to stage 2 in this video when it does only a little bit less damage if all 3 hit. At 12:55 couldn't you have just walked to the right and spammed instant fireball to finish him off? cheers

at 12 55 yea that was a total mistake i hit him so many times i dont need to worry there an can just kill i thought you can block the first stage fireballs is that not true? i only usually use stage 2 cause you cant block it so i have no chance for them to outplay and as of right now im using lightening staff with sword for the extra crit im going to go over it but crit chance on pyro is far more valuable than any other class for how easy it is to get 60 percent and im playing in spots where i dont need to kite because im not attackable at least thats the goal anyway and stage two i dont need to think about them kiting the fireballs or them hitting a door or pillar on their way to them mainly i want to do things that are guaranteed the range on the stage one fireballs is so good though i do get kills on rogues who are running ill have a live full match commentary talking about my thought process an everything while im playing ...last night i snuck into a red portal and hid out of agro range inside main boss room an waited for them to finish the boss an then killed em ill be posting that sometime too haha appreciate you!
@Sam348734 ай бұрын
@@ryanantheworld9328 late reply man but yes you can block the first stage of fireballs but people underestimate the first stage frequently it's quite good for these reasons 1.) no wind up time 2.) damage comes very close to stage 2 fireball 3.) as soon as you've launched the stage1 fireball, you can actually just turn around and start holding W and walk away. AS SOON AS IT'S LOCKED ON and the animation has gone off, you don't have to wait for the animation to finish, you can just walk away and the fireballs will still come out and chase your target, makes it very good for kiting especially since most people dont block when they're chasing, catches many ppl offguard 4.) once you identify who the enemy is, they might not even have a way to block, i.e, panther druid, double staffers, if they're running away, etc. so spamming this becomes insanely good i watched your 30 min pyro guide, it was really good, very helpful information cheers for the vid man i realized how important the crit was hahaha. question bout that video: do you just look for people to kill once you find a high ground advantage position? do you never farm mobs? and in saying that, don't you have +stacks to build on your heirlooms? you also mentioned mana being an issue, why don't you get mana on hit from your heirlooms?
@ryanantheworld93283 ай бұрын
hmm alright yea maybe stage 1 q is quicker than im thinking ill try to fit one of those in where i can and yea the very first thing i do is start counting spawns the more spawns i find the more i know where people are or will rotate from and i never kill mobs if i can help it somtimes you are forced yea but you have a huge advantage being the first one out of your spawn area and as far as my heirlooms i have plus 8 dmg and if i was to get another one it would be movment speed mana is anoying but only if i cant craft or buy mana potions so when im in a fight i dont usually run out of mana they will die and the positions im playing in give me alota time to drink the other stat i was using i think is health stacks but i really tried to focus on the most simple and useful build a build that you can die with a million times but could never go broke with and you dont have to gamble for greens but yea out of combat move speed would be the other one i take

Hey Man, I have MASSIVE Problems against Stormrage Rogues as Pyro. I can´t even rly hit them especially if they wallhug from even or higher elevation or very far distance they just go in and out of stealth chunking me for 300+ with each crossbow shot I basicly have to hide when Stormrage Rogues are out. Not sure if the US servers are different but on EU stormrage rogues on closseau Castle are everywhere and very hard to deal with...for any class.
@ryanantheworld93283 ай бұрын
yea storm rage rogues are very very anoying your only option is to camp when they are running rampent they are super squishy you need to hide around a corner and in a weird place like above a door so you can see them come in with invis on thats the only way to deal with that you are forced to respect them instead o playing on highground outside go inside and play on highground theres alota spots that are just as good
