I remember every friday/Saturday night there was a show called "Hot Tracks" with this host named "Carlos", that featured the best break dancers from all 5 boroughs in NYC, and the newest, hip hop, freestyle, pop, music videos! We use to take cardboard boxes from behind the grocery store at the bus stop and battle way back in the day. We didn't have big ghetto blasters going to school, but we pirated music from the radio and played it on a little cassette player and did what we could.
