I think you are overreacting. I think Laura Branigan's living management group has made positive public statements and are proud over the Blues adoption of the tune. It's definitely become a hit again in STL. The tune is a beautiful positive beat song that I believe reached #2 in the charts back in the 80's. It's a classic, I loved it back then, still do..
