Cheers for making learning the guitar so much less stressful Andy. Really appreciate all you do.

Hi Andy! I love your videos and the organisation around them. So effective to learn. Was wondering, if possible could you do a lesson on oasis’ ‘step out’? No tutorial videos on it and you’re the king of them 😉

I appreciate this. You actually mentioned how the way its played wears the fingers down. Alot people don't understand that. I play faithfully to how he keeps his guitar tuned which is slightly sharper, and the strings tighter. I'm surprised Noel still has fingers. You did amazing, and are far better than any of the random Wonderwall tutorials that doesn't even have the proper key down.

So on this song he plays with the guitar tuned up slightly?

This guy's guitar is a tad bit flatter than the actual song , but the chord shapes are all correct. He has the strumming pattern down. Noel has his guitar tuned a few cents higher because of ocatives not reaching high enough on B. Take on this example: e|0--- B|-1-- G|0--- D|--2 A|---3 E|x--- This small chord tab right here can explain it. The note played on the A string at the 3rd fret is C, as is the note on the B string on 1st fret. Sometimes, the C on B won't match with the C on A or vice versa, and it can cause tuning problems down the line. Inotation is an exact science, though. Noel makes his guitar strings tighter so the ocatives can match. In turn, the tuning is a bit on the sharper. This, in the long run, is a better solution as it keeps your guitar tuned. The only downside is retaining the tension and holding chords down. I play Oasis and NGHFB all day long, but at the end of the day, my fingers are dug into the strings and hurt, but it's beautiful music, so it doesn't bother me.
