Play Moxfield online with Spelltable using OBS Virtual camera

I activated the Virtual Cam. And looked around in Moxfield somewhere that it shows i can use OBS. But it shows up nowhere.

You use virtual camera on Spelltable not Moxfield. If you rewatch the video and follow every step i do you will see that Moxfield is used as a source to be captured in OBS. Then in OBS we use virtual camera to send our scene to spelltable as a virtual camera so we can play with our oponents through Moxfield.

Would you happen to know an easy way to get audio to play through on spelltable. I have seen some set ups where people are playing movies in the background. I think they might be using voicemeater but im hoping there is an easier way.

Hmm good question. I think the people who use voicemeter is sending sound through Virtual Cable. You can use Reaper for that too. If you install a virtual cable plugin you could send out sound from your system (windows) and use it as a microphone for other applications (such as microphone on spelltable) But I have to know.. what is the reason for watching movies on spelltable 🤣

Do you have a good way to display your hand size in moxfield but without part of the card's mana cost getting in the way of it?

Sorry I do not. I would as we usually do at the table playing magic just ask the opponent how many cards they have. Although you could get creative with it and add a screen capture source to then cut out only the bottom section of the cards to show people. so they can see your hand but only the bottom part of the card that does not reveal the cards information. Hope you understand what I mean but you could definitely tinker with it and get it to work.

That was great, but yy spelltable keeps saying it doesn't have camera permission even after I allow permissions in my browser and computer.

Man that sucks.. it's something out of my Control as sounds like it's not due to OBS itself. It sounds like it is something that is rooted in either your browser or spelltable itself. I would first try on different browsers (chrome, edge, Firefox) if that doesn't help try reaching to spelltable if they can help you out.

How do you deal with searching your library?

Good question! I normally don't bother doing anything about it because you always have to shuffle the deck after you search for a card. In real life the players also can get a glance of your deck so I don't find it a big issue. But if you want to hide it you can get creative around it. 1. You could simply hide your camera on spelltable for the other players during your search. 2. You can create a separate scene in OBS that you can switch to with a key binding that has a element of a big gray cube over the area where your deck library pops up when you search your deck so that half of your board gets hidden.
