Play PowerPoint Audio Automatically

I have 2 audio files on one slide and I want one to play after the other all i seem to be able to do is play them both at the same time or the first one only! I know you can get around this by setting a delay on the 2nd clip to the time of the first clip but it seems to be limited to only 59 seconds.

You do not have to put every audio file to automatic, you can switch the slideshow type in the slideshow options to window or kiosk (it's 1 of three dots in the extra options for slideshow), this should automatically play audio files when it transitions. You still have to do the first part of the video though with the automatic slide changing.

Yeah, it’s not working for me. I’ve set it to start automatically but it only works if you click on it. I’ve tried rewind, loop until stopped it makes no difference. Even I select it to run in the background for the entire show it still doesn’t start working until I click on it and then it won’t stop if I selected it to run in the background. Otherwise it simply won’t play unless I click on it. It is supposed to play when the slide appears (at the end). I’ve tried ‘in sequence’ and automatically, makes no difference which option. It’s a simple wav file and the file does work if clicked on but not otherwise.

I have no idea how yours is doing this. With mine, Audio, no audio, after 4 seconds, it goes to the next slide.

Hi! Unfortunately Microsoft PowerPoint is not free, it is a paid software. You might be able to replicate this in OpenOffice or LibreOffice though I'm not sure.

I had my desktop audio turned off in OBS. unless you are trying to record something as well, I doubt you have the same problem.
