Thank you, this is great! I’ve been playing guitar since elementary school. I decided my retirement hobby will be music and specifically learning the guitar neck. I want to help my guitar sing in style! 😎 I purchased Ricky’s book and am working my way through. I particularly enjoy the uninterrupted lessons and came to KZbin specifically to leave a review. You are the only one that uses a camera to get right in there and show finger positioning to make it easy to see everything, as a beginner this video is gold to me, I’ve been concentrating on the pentatonic scales for the last few months and am just now feeling confident enough to move into cords, and we’re playing the same guitars just different color and that helps, thank you

The bar chord cheats I use for playing killing moon, I can play a bar chord but I’ve had 2 frozen shoulders in the past and it’s a killer after a couple of minutes. Cheers Ricky 👍

The flat earth has f..k all to do with learning chords,anyway you don’t now wether it is flat or not so just concentrate on what you do best.

I'm going to try fretting the chords by putting the index finger down first. I learned the other way around, and I hope that re-learning with the index finger first will help me speed up my chord changes.
