Hey Marty, i will apologize now for such a long comment, but you’ve inspired me along my journey to becoming the guitar player I am today ..I’ve been watching your videos for a very long time now, say 12-13 years... since I was a teen which is when I started to play... now I have kids of my own and they play guitar now and I’m the teacher! I kinda lost interest in playing due to everyday life such as work, travel and things like this, and therefore I stopped watching your videos for a couple years, so I went on KZbin the other day and the first thing that came up was a video of Party Marty 😮 I couldn’t believe it, your still putting out videos and nailing them too buddy! Just wanna say you’ve helped me with the songs I had no idea how to start to play, because not all songs have tabs that are easy to access, or even made for that matter.. I missed playing guitar but life kinda pushed that aside for a few years, and now,like I mentioned my kids love guitar and I teach them all I know, and your videos will be watched by them as well because you break down everything to a beginners point of view all the way to a regular player! What they can’t learn from me they’ll learn from you! Thanks for helping me in my journey in playing this wonderful instrument! It’s a great pass time and also a stress reliever, if one has stress pick up a gitbox and devote some spare time and learn how to play! Again, thanks so much! Rock on party Marty ! By the way; this song " Summer of 69’ " was one of the very first I’ve learnt how to play on my old fender squier tele, then I upgraded to the USA real tele,midnight purple, and now I have acoustics, bass, a Fender 69’ precision bass, strat, stratosonic, and all fender amps, I’m a Fender guy haha, I see u like Gibson? Never had one was thinking on a Les Paul.. any advice before I spend a couple grand on one? Thanks ! And can you please play and teach the ones who don’t know a song by Merle haggard or Hank? Even George Jones, I think I’ve played along to a George Jones song you uploaded years ago? Am I right? Have a good one man !
