Yes I have met him 3 times, the score is 2 to him. Not that really counting as everyone beats everyone, as there are a lot of unwinnable races in the eliminator. 4 in a row is great.

@@MIELOCH Yeah I have had to play catchup, these others have been playing Horizon 3, 4 for years. I only started playing Eliminator in July last year.

Can you explain what even is manipulating the final showdown? Like is there a benefit to doing it or is there a strategy?

There appears to be a standard final showdown pin location from each arena. (Might not be true). When someone manipulates it, they head off in the opposite direction, and the computer might just set the final location in that direction because of them. If successful, it can give you a 40-second head start (by the time they turn around and cross the whole arena). Easy way to win in low-level car vs. very fast cars.
