Thanks for your comment! Hope you'll have a fab time on the island! September might be even better than August, less hot and less crowds :-). Puerto del Carmen is great as a base to explore the island, we also stayed there!

Thank you (James and Francesca. ) for the reply.( quick question) is it far from Puerto to Playa Blanca. And is there a good bus service.( I am slightly disabled and use a walking stick. But can still get around. Thank you have a nice weekend👍

@@dons.cairns123 Sure, there is a bus, the 161, that goes from Puerto del Carmen to Playa Blanca and viceversa, I believe it's every 30 minutes, and the journey takes 30-35 minutes, so not too long! 🙂 You have a nice weekend too!

Thanks for the vlog guys. Going to Playa Blanca later in the year, so will be definitely climbing the Volcano and visiting that beach. Do you think its possible to walk to the beach from Playa Blanca? Thanks.

Hi Chris! Thanks very much for your comment! It depends on where you are in Playa Blanca - supposing you start from the Rubicon shopping centre, it takes about 1h20 min to walk all the way to Playa de Papagayo, so it's a tad long but still doable. If you want to do Volcano and then the beach on the same day, it's quite a bit more challenging 😅.

Thank you for your comment! We were based in Puerto del Carmen, due to its position being more easily accessible to the rest of the island in terms of driving, so we could explore it all. However, in terms of beauty of the town itself and beaches nearby, in our opinion Playa Blanca wins. Apparently, we didn't do it on this occasion, but we heard you can also take a ferry down to Fuerteventura from there, which is a nice! We did a video on Puerto del Carmen as well by the way, if you fancy a watch. All the distances mentioned in our other videos on the island are all starting from Puerto del Carmen, so you get an idea of how long to get to places :-)

@@travelingpantalones2095 Ah right, not sure where you'll be travelling from but if you're looking for any practical ideas on costs of things on the island, transport, restaurants, activities and what not, you're welcome to check out our budget video. We did a breakdown of all our expenses on there in the hope to be as helpful as we can haha. Ah November must be another great time to visit Lanzarote, we're sure you'll enjoy it, it's such a beautiful island!😊
