I actually like the concept of the X-Blade being used as part of Sora's moveset. We never actually learned what became of it at the end of KH3, and many theorized that somehow Sora still has it. I could see it being used in KH4 in mechanics similar to the Master Sword in the recent Zelda games.

@@realMemberberries That is a very good point, actually, and it solidifies his status as a guardian of light, as he probably is going to have to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. I would imagine the MoM and the Darkness possessing him would want to get ahold of it. It's essentially a world-killing weapon if you think about it.

The most interesting thing is that Sora was never chosen by a keyblade master. Only Kairi and Riku where. The person that realized the ritual with Sora was xehanort and he bestowed the xblade to him.

I wonder if Sora will be 18 in KH4, and if the game will have an underlying theme about growing up and moving on. KH3 tickled that just a tad by mentioning that the connections to his heart were fading, which could be equated to growing up.

Don't the journals mention the ending of DDD is why his connections are fading? I believe Merlin also mentions something about how they can always be strengthened later.

I'd say he's about 16. KH1 he was 14 and when he wakes up in KH2 a whole year has passed. At the end of the Re:Mind they mention it's been a year since Sora disappeared. Though part of me feels like they'll have his 17th birthday happen in the middle of the plot

Well there are millions of us and probably at least a couple thousand capable of coding and modding, versus maybe a couple hundred to 1000 people working on KH4? There are more modders than actual developers so it's not impossible.

They could do this with magic too, the "magic tiers" could be part of a combo and you could have something like; Fire-> Fira-> Firaga-> Firaja/za-> *combo finishers* which could be Megaflare, Firaga Burst, Raging Storm, or Meltdown Then combining spells in a combo could give you new finishers like; Aero-> Thundara-> Graviga-> Magneja/za-> *Earthquake, Magic Hour, Laser Rain, or Meteor*

Some very cool looking mechanics here D: Wish SE will go that way, more control over our Finishers and implementing some cool BBS like Command Attacks is what I was looking for. The extra movement control on flow motion looks cool and the turns in air dash are gorgeous. And implementing the Down Air from Smash is the perfect idea. How many times I've been stuck too high in air with no option to quickly reach the ground in KH3...

As cool as it is, if sora didn't forget every single move he ever knew, including his moves from kh1 and chain of memories, and theoretically re:coded (since that sora is just a digital version of him, so it implies everything that data sora knows, real sora should know or be able to do aswell) this mod would only be around 20% of his full power.

It'll be awesome playing as a foreteller or visit world that's only exclusive to the mobile like Game Terminal Station (I forget the actual name of the world) or even that Island from the VCast but with actual gameplay

The freeze time and reflect defending against unblockables is kinda too OP for my taste. But my God, something like the Shortcut EX system needs to have some kind of incorporation in KH4 proper. That system and its animations alone are actually more intricate and thought out than base KH3 mechanics 😂. I think the key that the KH team needs to focus on is a good chunk of tools getting proper cost and reward added to them. Not the free, yet cluttered system of situation command arrows; with lack of choice for what EXACTLY you want to dish out and when (I really don't wanna see a single situation command arrow in the upcoming trailers 🤢🙏🏿). I've actually toyed with the idea in my head of enemy-specific reaction commands potentially evolving to needing to build up a meter or points to be able to activate them on enemies. This would give more choice on when and which enemy to reaction style on, instead of KH2's "it appears when it appears" approach (barring the enemies that need to get downed to reaction on, as those make sense to earn a chance to style on without a meter). The closes comparison would be from Insomniac's Spider-Man games with triangle + circle takedowns. The slicker combo modifier animations are also very cool, and I hope actual KH4 Sora can move just as fast, fluid, and honed when the game comes out (the block animations 🤩👌🏿). All in all, put Sora101Ven on the team ASAP 😭👏🏿.

I hope KH4 has some form of an AOE stop. Sora had stop in KH1 and DDD. If Mickey can use stopza I don't see why Sora can't for any reason other than the devs don't know how to implement it in a balanced manner. Barrier/reflect is a similar issue. Sora has it in some form changes in KH3, yet Aqua and Riku use it so casually.
