Can’t hear anything clearly. The helicopter pilot was on a separate frequency with air traffic control then the air traffic control was on with the plane. Air Traffic Controller was managing both frequencies simultaneously. Unless you have the helicopters recording of their communication with air traffic control on that separate frequency, we won’t have the full picture.

My heart goes out to ATC... many sleepless nights and haunted days to come.. Please give them some grace and benefit of the doubt.. most of you don't have any idea what ATC handles on the regular that we. as ground dispatchers, do not.. in one more dimension and with many more lives in jeopardy at once.. I so wanted to hear this ATC to Pilot traffic. Retired PD/Fire/Medical dispatcher here who once had aspirations of doing ATC til I realized.. you do 911 already.. Why on earth would you wish a whole 'nother dimension to watch over on top it? Probably the wisest and farthest, most realistically I've ever thought about the potential future. I always was sort of an adrenalin junkie, I guess, lol. However I'm pretty sure I saved my last nerve by not taking that job, hehehe, for sure! that many more nerves...hehehe. I've ever looked.

@@Unique-Rythmn Without having heard the other aircraft traffic.. and I'm assuming ATC if not also the AA commuter, I think it was.. and any aircraft in the area.. would also been able to hear the Military helo. I'm wondering if the Helo was on a military only channel and not a public one but thinking he was.. talking only ATC, Helo didn't hear the plane ready for take off or ATC clear him. Helo was assuming he could hear the other aircraft and even if he did.. he was not specially and rather arrogantly thought he could mjp and get up before anything got too close, when actually, he jumped right up to it like he aimed! I'm calling Helo error.

@@roxannemacias2626 i listened to scanner audio and at the beginning ATC kept stating there was an unknown heli and it was interfering with ATC. Lots of footage and audio coming out it will be interesting to learn if it was an arrogant accident or intentional.

Why did the helicopter turn toward instead of turning the other way. It turned right into them! Who was on that plane that they wanted eliminated?

I'm feeling the Helo fatally misjudged either his ability to scoot past that plane or simply did not hear the other radio traffic for some reason, even if on a different channel.. they should of been able to catch a conflict. Someone was on the wrong channel or not using scanner, and thinking they were the only aircraft around and hopefully not military arrogant.. IMHO.

Looked like Helo jumped up hoping to get the heck out of the way but he was actually on the other side than he thought he was gonna be.. in other words, he zigged when should of zagged.

I wish people would stop being so oblivious to the truths right in their face. It doesn't make logical sense that there are this many random freak events while our country is in escalating stress.
