@@janetsminten8196 bro i hate woke sht just as much as the average joe, but even i think its not a problem that marceline and bubblegum were a couple because bubblegum never showed any interest in finn anyway and was always rather cold and more interested in science and her kingdom. literally every single other character is straight afaik. and finn was never a sap? he had stuff going with like 3 different girls (ignoring the pillow incident). it was literally perfect from the beginning to the (spoilers:) literal end. as long as they DONT make another spinoff in todays day and age or dont make finn and jake come back somehow for a continuation where they teach them pronouns and make them woke and sht i will be happy and Adventure will always remain a masterpiece.

That's a really bold statement considering Adventure Time just sort of straight-up ripped stuff from Lovecraft. The idea that before there was time there was nothing and before that were monsters is exactly how Lovecraft's Outer Gods work. The fact most of the monsters have no memory or ability to think aside from a handful of exceptionally powerful ones? Also Lovecraft. There's a lot of other stuff they incorportated, but when you're familiar with both sources the connection is clear. Not saying that Adventure Time did a bad job of incorporating it, they did it in a very interesting and entertaining way. I just don't know if I'd give them the "deepest lore" award.
