Thanks for showing us the capabilities of this wonderful instrument. I have it but have only used the included sounds till now. You have a new subscriber for your efforts Christopher.

thanks so much for the video. Maybe your pic small and the screen bigger would be easier to understand for my tired eyes :)

That's a very fair comment. Smaller head and bigger screen recording next time for sure. Thanks for checking out the video.

By dragging in such a long sample how is it finding a key since various notes are used?
@ChristopherScullion Жыл бұрын
I normally throw in a bunch of samples that are already edited to have 1 note per audio file. it then maps each audio file to a certain key
@kxllyg822 Жыл бұрын
Anyone know if the samples have to be tuned to c?
@ChristopherScullion Жыл бұрын
Playbox does it's best to figure out the tuning of the samples itself. You can go in and pitch the samples around if it ends up being totally off.

How are you exporting sounds from Kontakt to use in playbox?
@ChristopherScullion Жыл бұрын
I'm using the .wav audio files from the instruments, usually found in the 'audio files' folder of a sample instrument.
@jclokwork Жыл бұрын
Thank you for that. This is very helpful.

Hey can you do a tutorial of how you installed? Playbox, I don't know if you're using Ableton but I'm sure everybody except for Apple users probably had issues trying to install. I am on PC Windows 11 using Ableton 11, but the issue with playbox on my computer is that it's in standalone mode only and I'm not sure if the file is supposed to be installed in a certain folder.

Hi. You need to use Kontakt to open Playbox. In Ableton look for Kontakt and within Kontakt look for Playbox. www.native-instruments.com/ni-tech-manuals/playbox-manual/en/installation-and-setup
