This video has been super helpful so many times over when I can’t remember the best way to fold my tent! Would love a demo on how you open and control the ceiling vents.

Well done!... So is that an extra tarp you put down first?
@theconfidentrabbit25213 жыл бұрын
Thanks Thomas! Yes, it's not necessary but we always put a tarp down as a much cheaper, sacrificial base that helps protect the floor from rocks and twigs that try to grind away at the material as we walk around in the tent. It's also a lot easier to clean and we don't have to put a muddy tent back in the duffle bag when we pack up.

lol the landyard with bear spray constantly getting in his way jfc dude just put it on a belt or toss somewhere to the side. also did you really need to take your boots off to unfold your tent?

Hi - Two people have died this year from different grizzly attacks at this location so we don't put our bear sprays to the side. In fact bear behavior experts recommend that spray be kept as close to the upper front of your torso as possible. Not on a backpack strap and not on a belt. Typically it stays mostly out of the way on the lanyard but setting up the tent requires more bending over than usual. Despite that we keep the bear spray on the outside of our clothing and attached the same way we are used to so that it is second nature to retrieve it when required. It is a system we have fine tuned while dealing with bears on a regular basis.
