Also Wylde Flowers has no inventory limits, everything just magically fits in your backpack. I love this in a crafting/farming sim👍🏽

Wylde Flowers is *so* underrated. I honestly believe it's a must play for anyone who's ever enjoyed a farming or life sim style game. It's the best in the genre for me, hands down. Also, the dev has added quite a bit of content post-release (for free), which always deserves more support. Truly one of the best, most addictive games in any genre I've played in awhile.

I love Wylde Flowers so much. It is one of my favorite games of all time. I really hope that studio makes more games. It's such a heartwarming town. You really feel like a part of it. Shelby is my dream grandpa. I adore him. And Hazel is so sweet.

I’m not a gamer. Other than Pokémon Go during lockdown, I’ve never really gotten in to any games. We got a switch for our daughter and I got Wylde Flowers on a whim… and every spare second for the last week I’ve spent playing. I’m obsessed. This game is amazing and I am already sad it’s going to be done one day.

I love wylde flowers, it was my most played switch game last year when it released and I'm still playing after completing the story with all the free updates. More marriage candidates appear throughout the first year. I don't know when it unlocks but eventually you can craft clothes. I was already finished with the story before the first update in December. I haven't restarted yet.

Alba has been on my wishlist too! It looks so chill and cute and totally up my ally! Thanks for covering it! And I picked up my first Atelier game (Ryza 1) because of your love for the franchise and how fun it looks, a few weeks ago and can’t wait to dive in! I haven’t tried it yet, because I know it’s gonna take over my life!!!! Lol And I’ve been playing No Place Like Home and loving it so far!! I’m about 75% of the way done.

If you want to make Wylde Flowers a REALLY comfy game and don't want to think about stamina too much, there is a way of making a lot of money very early and then buying a lot of coffee. Let's just say it has to do with fish fingers. You can buy the 2 ingredients early in the game and then sell the fish fingers you cook for a lot of profit. Obviously this makes the game very easy, but if you feel turned away by the terrible stamina situation and just want to chill you can spend the money on food until you are back to the amount you had and not buy anything else with it.

I'm also currently playing Lydie & Suelle! It's so fun so far! I played Alba earlier this year and adored it, and I had played the demo for Wylde Flowers and it's definitely near the top of my wish list.

I also started this game like 10 days ago so its not showing me how many hours I have played yet but I have been playing this a lot cause they always give you new things to do. Really love the voice acting and it makes you get fully immersed into it. And, I bought it on sale for like 3 dollars. The surprise when the summer started got me ngl.

Not sure if you're still deciding but I would say Ryza 1! I had played earlier games in the series years ago but Ryza pulled me in and I was addicted. Immediately got Ryza 2 right after and got addicted to it, too. 😂

Wylde flowers is fun. I just wish the stamina didn’t go down so fast. I finally got one chicken in the game. The game No Place Like Home I thought would be fun it’s just slow starting. I hope there is more to it then just removing trash. Thank you for you reviews.

You went back to lydie and suelle so maybe you can help me since I'm playing for the first time and guides online are useless, I'm at a point where to raise my rank to A I need to use combination arts but I don't have any except Lucia and Suelle and that's not an option to use nor can I even use that at all cause there's no bar to fill. How do I unlock the combination arts for others ? I make sure to do every side quest and visit every person when they have a exclamation on the map and I also fill the bar when doing the deliveries that count quality/quantity but nothing.. guides just say I get it early but I'm clearly on a chapter far passed where I should've gotten them if my rank requires using them :(

3:50 That's all well and good when people encourage you to keep on playing, saying "after xx hours it starts getting good". Okay? But isn't it a flaw in the game's design if you aren't hooked from start to finish? If other people, who mostly likely experienced the same draught as you, have to TELL you to keep playing? That the game itself doesn't manage to make you keep playing on its own?

@@trustavidity Good point. And many stories start slow. In anime people often have a rule of thumb that you should at least watch the first 5-10 episodes (of long series of course), before you pass judgment. That just watching the first episode is seldom enough to get you hooked. The first one or two episodes are of course important to introduce the mc, but they are seldom what sells you on the series.
