I would love a player perspective of a Psychopath. I know one of the ones I have seen is Holly in the NRB game where she was kind of a chaos gremlin and killed half the evil team. So I would love to see maybe a bit more methodical Psychopath play out.

That was a fantastic game and glad to see a lengthy zombuul one. Though, what was it that made everyone suspect Kat? I think with the info Jacqui got I can sorta see how you could reach that with poisoned cannibal info, but that was pretty late into the game.

The day where she said either the tea lady or the barber was a bluff was probably what doomed it imo.

Her reaction to being sussed from the Chambermaid info at 44:24 read like an evil player unhappy that they were being strung up on something that wasn't quite right. And the day 3 Savant info didn't work at all unless Sam was the Spy. Now, Sam WAS the Spy, but nobody tried to EITHER solve that or sus Kat for it, so again socially it's an evil player being overlooked because evil isn't pushing on it and pointing out that it doesn't make sense. The later info that doubled down on there being a hard conflict between her and either Skilz or Ben sealed it, that info felt very evil from our Ben perspective. Also worth noting that this is easier for chat to work through, chat just has more collective time to chew on things like Savant info, Ben was really the only one who was pushing on Kat until right at the very end when players like Rez also start to got the vibe that this is the demon.

Is Aggie's ruling regarding the spy as being able to register as waking or non waking correct? I thought that it was while a spy can register as a townsfolk, there was nothing about the spy ability that allows them register as waking or non waking other than the spy's actual ability. Yes, the spy can register as an savant (a non-waking role) to a washerwoman, but they would still register as waking to a chambermaid because they woke, regardless of which townsfolk role they are seen as.

Question regarding the Tea Lady/Zombuul interaction: Had Malashan actually been the Zombuul who was alive, but registering as dead and if Kat were good. Could Nicky have survived his execution? If so, would he always survive? Or is it a little like a recluse where the story teller can choose whether the Zombuul registers as an "alive" neighbour?

@@BloodontheClocktower Nicky nominates himself at 1:13:15 with the logic being that they believe both him and Kat, the tea lady's living neighbours, are good. But there was also a prevalent world where Malashan was the Zombuul who had been executed once and now is alive, but registering as dead, as per the Zombuul's ability. In this case, Kat was evil so whether or not the hypothetical Zombuul Malashaan registered, Nicky would have died, but I was wondering about if both Nicky and Kat had genuinely been good. I was just curious how that would affect whether the tea lady check would be effective

Zombuul registers as “dead” to all abilities but the end game condition of 2 players left alive, so if the Tea Lady neighbors a once dead zombuul, it skips over to look at the other neighbor. If both neighbors are good, they would survive the execution.

FFX-2 is great! I'm not a big FFX fan, but the sequel is fantastic! FFV is obviously the best given how every spin-off is basically a remake of it (as well as Bravely Default and Octopath which are legally not FF spin offs), although preferably with the GBA localisation. I get not everyone enjoys fun, and get annoyed at it's story being so, but they're silly.

I always had a soft spot for 9 myself. Tidus is an annoying privileged kid, but his role is used as a blank slate that the other characters can exposition at all the time. Like Vaan in XII, as annoying, no privilege. At least XII had the better story.

@@orykoth They tried something different, it didn't work out for most people. It's quite counterintuitive to try your best and not level on random mobs. But seeing people play and break 8 over their knee is always impressive. I was never that invested in the card game and never knew what you could do with it. But the story? Even if it was denied by Squaresoft time and time again, the 'Squall is dead' theory just makes so much sense.

@@EricDMMiller it’s not “dumb” at all. Coming up with plausible and believable savant info that fits a coherent world on the fly is quite tricky. Kat needed to frame worlds where Nicky died because skilz was evil, which worked best if skilz was specifically a marionnette or zombuul evil with malashaan. Alternatively, she needed to get people to consider the outsiders as evil candidates, which requires suggesting a hidden goon (as she’d been working towards). This savant info proffered both the alternative worlds she needed. From Ben’s perspective where he knows he’s the barber it makes kat look more evil, but that doesn’t mean it’s “dumb”. Indeed the quality of Kat’s savant info was one of many reasons Town remained uncertain even when double tapping her.
