i work 10-7 and i don't have a feeling of missing out. WuWa basically just a single player game. you're not competing with anyone. the game will still there. it will not going anywhere, more content will be added into the game, but the players doesn't have to oblige to clear all of it within certain amount of time. if this dude just say "hey guys, I'll be leaving WuWa for a while because i want to try another games. I'll be back later." without making any excuses, people will let him take his break he deserves without any drama. yet here we are.

Yeah, on days that I don't have much time, I'll just select the quickest dailies to do (use an item, dodge, etc.). I'll farm echoes, explore, etc. when I have time. I'm taking my time to build all of my characters. I'm not trying to race to endgame and max out my echoes, just so I can brag online.

Yeah i agree, I've been recording my daily WuWa dailies and aside from my extended gameplay it usually takes around 5-10 mins depending on waveplate count, leveling up and other progression is just a side-effect of doing quests, exploring, battling bosses and other classes, etc. which is the core of the gameplay

There's no reason for them to oversaturate a game mode just to test it out, people would have seen it regardless if it was implemented in a nonintrusive way or not. It does seem like they've fixed the issues people had with it, but saying that it was intended to be that way for the beta is obviously misleading.

idk man, seems to me ppl are lazy af. doing dailies in wuwa takes way faster time than genshin did. tacet field also costs 60 waveplates and you can only do 4 every day unless you buy refills, since you get 240 waveplates every 24 hours, which goes very fast, and the other daily stuff goes fast too, its not much unnecessary yapping like daily commissions

I played Genshin since day 1 and WuWa is such a great improvement that I left all the other gachas to play it. Perfect combat, beautiful design, huge map and quick, fun exploration. Plus, it is single player mostly, so you can play 3 hours when you have time and only do the dailies when you don't, they take so little time. Plus, the devs are amazing and the game feels rewarding. I mean everyone has different tastes, but WuWa is peak when it comes to gacha games at the moment

As a casual WuWa player who has played every day since release, I can confirm that you don't need to speedrun content to have fun. I haven't even unlocked gold echoes yet. Got a couple of cracked purple echoes yesterday though.

I find the daily maintenance for completing the daily missions and using your waveplates is super quick and friendly. I much prefer my experience vs genshin atleast. And then if you have the time or want to, you can play more to do quest, exploration or farming echoes. I like it.

Since 2 weeks ago i only did dailies and consume waveplates everyday and it only took me at least 15 minutes a day . I sometimes check the waveplates in the evening just to be sure that its not half full. The reason I do it is sometimes im busy irl and I dont want to be stress out farming those 4star echoes. Now that Kuro made that echo farming will always drop gold, time to grind that game to the fullest . Btw good luck to those who are pulling for Jinhsi, got her and her weapon in just 20 pulls ! I'm Danjin main and I always use headphones because when she is running, there is little bells that plays on her back and it gives me free dopamine without actually doing anything. Respect the dude's opinion but heavily disagree with most of his takes on the game taking all your time you realistically only have to put barely 30mins to do all your dailies and stamina wasting. At worst 1-2hour if you grinding all the 3 cost of the set you need and that 2 hour is giving him a huge benfit of the doubt unless you add doing a bit of story. But again as a casual you arent going for minmaxing a proper casual goes "if it help me clear its good" and again the game is new its grindy only when you trying to play catch up to others and not going your pace. What i do agree is yes make the echo exp gain a bit more comfortable and tacet fields should have a higher chance of getting appropriate same ele set for that waveplate cost. But one thing most people glossed over is the new update brough a new 3 cost spectro tiger that only goes in celestial light set which means you only have to get his rng for main and sub which lower the 3 cost rng for itself to be the write set. So seeing wuwa doing that i can see them doing more of those in the future with more echoes which will give better 3 cost options that are lesser rng orientated. P.s : That "Tracet field" was pissing me off💀

Tacet Fields still costs 60 waveplates... 2 gold echoe level mats. 3 if you're lucky which I unfortunately wasn't in the majority of the double drop event. I lost possibly 20+ mats..

i rly despise the fact that a echo of a certain elemental set can offer other types of ele dmg. sure most of us are not gonna use a HP% 3 cost, but at least we could, at least a character using the echos set can use the stats given by the echo if it is HP or DEF, but a completely useless stat feels worse than not getting a echo at all, especially since the recycling system feels awful too.

the only gripe One can say the echo system for WuWa has is the set piece bonus, should have been 4 piece so that the 5th echo is more flexible but its totally understandable because the echo grind requires no stamina... and its not too hard to get a 3 cost on set elemental DMG bonus, your biggest issue is when you are gonna roll it for fellow Jenshin players how many on set 40 CV gobs you guys have???

Yeah, but there are tacit fields you can basiclly warp to, and honestly, in these games (Genshin/Wuthering Waves) I can pretty much obliterate enemies in seconds and I've been playing both casually. Still, running from location to location for dailies hurts me, because if I could get those done faster I could spend more time doing other things in the game, or another game, events, quests, etc... I usually struggle to stay up to date on the Main Story Quests,, because I'm mostly going after the premium currency that has a time limit attached to it.

WuWa is so casual, it only takes me 5mins or less to do dailies but I enjoy exploring the world. Anyone who "quits" always comes back especially when a cool character comes up or a major content patch, he will come back when the next waifu banner comes around. The only gacha game that I quit is Arknights and Girls frontline.

I don't think it's a time issue, but an issue of effort. They want to go into a domain and kill some mobs and get the exact set they want with as little effort as possible. In HSR you don't even have to play the game, and in some ways i enjoy that as well. HSR and Genshin are low effort games where this game requires a little more effort and time, tho you don't need perfect echos to beat most of the content.

I think what we are missing here from this guy's perspective is that he isn't really a casual player. If you look at his channel he has been actively making content for WuWa for a while. I think it would be more accurate for him to refer to himself as a F2P content creator or casual content creator and when you see it from that lense, his complaints of "way too much time" become clearer. He is trying to speedrun the content so he can create content on it in a timely manner because if it takes him too long, the content he'd want to make won't get the views. I wish that his video (not connor's the OC) made it clearer that his perspective was clearly coming from a place of a content creator because its kind of misleading for him to say his perspective is the "casual gamer" perspective.

I don't know how many more games I can add to the daily list, but we'll see. each game is 15-20 min for daily stamina burn and dailies and I can devote about 4-6hrs a day. Again I will take the artifact system of Genshin. Your daily farm in Genshin is : login, spend stamina 4 times for artifacts, get shit atifacts, log out. Meanwhile, you have get xp to lvl them. When in a week you get 2-3 artifacts with good potential you lvl up them and most of the time its too bad (even more if you want optimize a decent set). And that's all, ppl complain months and months about that and its right and legit but now all the ppl that was stayed on the game are used to it. And aide of that, when a hear that 20% of players touch end game content (abyss) ... WHY DO YOU STRESS ABOUT ARTIFACTS IF YOU DON'T DO END GAME !???!!!????!!! On Wuwa, you can log in, spend your stamina in tacet fields 4 TIMES ! get shit Echoes, like genshin, so you save your xp and tuners and when you get 2-3 by week you have far enough xp & tuners to try good sub stats LIKE IN GENSHIN ! BUT ! NOT LIKE IN GENSHIN ... you CAN farm extra Echoes daily for try your luck more, but as you wish, its not an obligation. And people react to it with an unfair statements like if that is worse than genshin ... its exactly like Genshin but with extra change so its a little better (yeah just a little). If you are used to genshin you don't have the right to complain OR you have high illegitimate expectations based on nothing (because it was know since first CTB and we just can expect adjustments but no radical changes and that is what happened) on the idea that Echo farm system will be different and you are disappointed. If you haven't a life where you can do a 20min daily or 2-3h for the hard content in 2 WEEKS, stop playing gacha games, They are all like that, all of them, that's the based line of progression system, you are wasting your time and get a bad experience, invest your time in an other hobby. to be fair, i don't judge others taste for games. if they really want to try different games then by all means please do. because probably you are already helping the game out without you realize it. and people should normalize to not blaming on the game itself or making excuses while the game itself offering you the best QoL and still improving. and just because the world not moving around you, there's no reason for you to make excuses like "i work 8 hours, i have cats, my pterodactyl keep calling me every 5 minutes, i need to help gordon ramsay to find where the lamb sauce is, yada yada". the world is not waiting for anyone, but it will always there for everybody. just like games.

I honestly feel grinding it's not that bad compared to like Genshin, it took me only a day of farming echos to get the perfect Main Stat+Sub Stats, while in Genshin that would've take me like a whole week, since well... you can't farm relics in the open world like WuWa

@@HazardTone customized synthesis is a thing in star rail so getting energy rolls isn't bad. Also you can see the substats in HSR. Not my first game with RNG. It has a bit to much for casual players. Tbh. I kinda find running the map and getting echoes dull. I just spend stamina on tacet fields. If there were some chests around I would do it, but I pretty much cleared the map. I farmed that bell TD for verina for hours, waiting to respawn and nahhh. That was time I cannot get back. On the other hand nothing can compare to getting and rafining The Catch in Genshin. That was long ago. At this point I just don't care. Somehow. I just enjoy exploring when new areas comes and missions. Otherwise I just spend stamina.

Minimum time investment in WuWa is actually too low despite what dude in video saying. in version 1.0, sometimes I was doing my dailies 15 minutes and spend all energy and quit. And sometimes spent extra 15 minute on hologram for fun and rage quit. So it's even less than my HSR time. And not to mention that in 1.1, dailies become easier. And for casuals, game is too easy. if you are casual, you probably don't want to do engame JUST 1 MONTH AFTER THE GAME RELEASE anyway. And I'm speaking for personal experience, I'm level 47 and I was able to clear literally every casual content with 4* level 70 character, with all talents level 1, with literally negative crit stats and literally all my echoes are level 0. I have materials to upgrade them but I'm not doing that right now because I don't want to. And even in story, if there is hard battle, game gives you strong trial character anyway. So I'm really not understanding that why that dude is thinking this game wants time investment. And not the mention, all the events up to right now is maximum 5 minute to clear per level. so yeah. And lastly, he was playing 2 sub dps and 1 main dps all the time in back footage. I know thing can one shot you but supports are still good. in my case, Verina literally doubles my damage. And I use support set for my sub dps because it also helps a lot. And in WuWa, having 2 sub dps is kinda meaningless because up times are low. So even using 1 sub dps and 2 support better than 2 sub dps and 1 main dps. And that dude was trying to do end-game with a team that makes no sense meanwhile saying he is casual. I'm happy that he is quitting tbh.

Jst here to say but Nikke is the gold standard for gacha games, omni-pity, high rates, auto battle, but solo and Union raid for some hands on play, great story and abundance of pull currency. Best side game = best gacha game

This dude should have admitted he's too lazy to do all that in WuWa. While I understand that not everyone has time for grinding and everyone has their own life to take care of, his reasonings aren't being realistic, being entitled as well as a bit of selfishness. I get that some people wanted to do both casual and grindy, I'm also those kind of people but I don't think we should expect to get the best artifacts or echoes with the best substats asap. That's not how grinding works and EVERY gacha game is grindy regardless. He shouldn't treat the game, or any other gacha game like a sport and then complain why he can't get the echoes or substats he wanted. Fortunately enough Echo farming is infinite that requires ZERO resin unlike Genshin or HSR, you can still farm again if you don't like the echo's stats. Its all just about effortness. If he truly wants to be casual, he doesn't even need to farm a lot of echoes and do the dailies like normal. He doesn't even need to beat bosses either since there are other non related fighting daily quests which is also an option. Its actually easier to do the dailies than Genshin. Even grinding in tacit fields and forgery challenges doesn't take long too, which I don't really understand his logic unless his build really lacks. ZZZ won't be that much different in grinding than WuWa.

I totally agree with what you saying.. I mean I play snowbreak, and I see people complain the coop modes are too long.. they want to fight 2 mins and be done with it... Like bruh,. why play a game like snowbreak and you want it over in 2 mins.. actual playing a game, and with people, should be more engaging. It makes me question those people, why are they even playing then, if there not playing. This dudes the same, hes complaining he has to play the game, when thats the point of playing the game. Wuwa has better time investment than genshin. I love that ill be able to get through boring side quests with the skip button. But, the rest of the game is fun. On my work days if im tired, ive done dailies and used my energy and logged off. But, on my days off or when im not that tired, it's a lot of fun. But, you dont have to play every single day. By looks of it, i dont think itll be bad to miss a 5 star cos the next one will be just as fun. And you dont need to speedrun the game, or any game. And, I love the echo system as casual player. It means I can focus energy on level materials and then farm echos. Unlike genshin, you have to choose between the two.

For me, playing video games is a hobby, so you have the right to stop playing a game if you want for any reason in the world without having to justify it. I play HSR, I like it so I continue. I tested Wuwa, I didn't like it so I took the opportunity to test Genshin, but no, the open world in gatcha wasn't for me in fact. I have time to play WuWa but I don't want to invest time in it, especially for echoes that look like nothing. When it comes out I'm going to test ZZZ, it might remind me of HI3D we'll see...or even make me want to pick up Persona 3 reload which is on sale at the moment. So I don't understand the meaning of your video, if he wants to stop a game, what does he stop, he tells his community and it's over... Mfer here complaining about the echo system, meanwhile he plays HSR where getting a good elemental sphere on set will take you months and you could even never get it. Here in other hand people already got their primary sets in about 3 weeks. Not saying the echo system is perfect, we still need to get more rewards for stamina consumed but c'mon man. About making the farming faster, well you will get there with better builds, we don't need auto in this game, what they could do is making it "stackable" so we can clear several runs in a single one.
