In my calculations (Yes, you may call me a nerd but let me say this), a mega box costs 80 judging by their previous cost. So in theory if I divide 499 by 20 boxes, it means that if you bought that offer, each Mega Box cost 24.95/25 gems. So it's not much of a scam, yes it cost a lot but it's not that bad plus it's mainly spenders who buy those (although buying 5 for 199 gems is not ideal)

I honestly like the rewards of the megaboxes. I think the reason many people many people think that the rewards are underwhelming is because of the cosmetics. Because the og megaboxes didn't have cosmetics and only gave progression. But now, much of this progression went to bling and other cosmetics, but I think this is a great thing for people who like cosmetics. I remember in the old days it was so hard to get a good skin, I almost could never get enough gems to buy one. Now it's much easier, and it's basically free. People just like to complain too much 😑

not true, there is no reason why they cant combine the individual power points (average 30 received from brawlers into 120 total power points from one "roll" in the box. now you need a lucky roll to even get over 100 power points. this also doesn't explain why you get no coins from these boxes, as the coin economy/spending hasn't changed like power points have. we should still be getting 200+ coins from each box without relying on a lucky roll. they also snuck bling and credits in there to make it seem like you are getting more progression-based items than you actually are

Mostly I agree, but I think the main issue I see is the reward megaboxes give. Back in the day megaboxes gave like 500-1000 coins each practically everytime and now like 100-200 if you're lucky. And I think with the brawl talk it seamed way faster pace with the amount of boxes you get. I thought you would get like a box in like 1-2 days, but you get 4 tokens a day so you get 1 box every 3 days if you play everyday. And that's really slow in my opinion. But I've opened like 7 boxes already and I've gotten nothing exciting, my luck is probably terrible but still. Anyway, I love yapping

I disagree, ten boxes is a lot, due to the fact that there is a high chance you will get something good in one of them. Not only this, but you get a very cool skin from the event for free as well. (Side note, you can save the boxes all at once which can be more exciting).

Before the event launch i had high hope that I'll be able to get Cordelius and/or Draco or any other legendary because content creators made a video where they create a new character and how much megabox to max out the account. Is anyone gonna talk about how players with no hypercharge for Shelly getting it for free, what about people who specifically have the Shelly hypercharge? Isn't it unfair. Hypercharges cost 5000 gold. And gold is such a scarce resource.

It always baffles me how spoiled the BS community is. We literally get free progression with additional cosmetics and a free hypercharge skin yet there are people who consider this a "scam"? Yeah the mega boxes are not nearly as good as the old ones but it doesn't matter they are bad, the only thing I wish they included in them are credits cause they are weirdly absent. Also remeber the godzilla event and the eggs? Mega Boxes are basically a straight upgrade from them, we get more than 1 item per box, no mutation instead progresion, boxes may contain gems. Also about the offers in the shop, yeah they are overpriced but don't act like you HAVE TO buy them. These offers are made for whales and youtubers not for normal Joe's like us. In summary: Just enjoy the damn event.

The only problem i had with mega boxes is that there ws some sorta glitch that my wins didnt save for the megaboxes when i played showdown (it had the weird symbol) and even tho i got all the wins to get the 3 win starr drops u get daily then i checked and i litrrwlly,only had 2 things -_-

The "free" skin isn't actually available for F2P. Tokens/day = 4 Tokens / Box = 12 Days / box = 3 Total days = 20 Total boxes = 20/3 = 6.6 repeating Free to Play will never get the free skin.

Heyyy Nubbz, there is one thing I want to. I hope every maxed out account players know this. If you have maxed account and when you open a Mega Box you'll get like 400-600 coins which is way more than new Mega boxes and STAR DROPS and it contains way more value considering when you want to max out upcoming brawler. And same goes of Big Boxes as well you'll get more than additional coins if you have max out account. This make up Boxes more better than Star drops.

My man you know how it take 3 day to just to get single mega box from the event. I calculate that we only going to have 6 mega box from the event plus the free box in store. Which isn’t enough for us to claim the skin if we spend gems to get it. I’m glad that they brought boxes back because it used to be what made the game that it is already is. But this event is just too money grab.

1. it is physically possible for f2p to get the rico skin, you only need 6 tokens per day, it was possible to get 6 on the first day and 9 today so its looking like were gonna be fine also i didnt remember megaboxes being just 3 super rare star drops shoved together what happened to all the good stuff? its bc the quests, they made play again quests both days so far for total of 4 extra tokens between today and yesterday

Brawl stars is giving skins for free....So when we spend money we expect some good amount of resources.....I started this game mandy season and have spent nearly 700 bucks till today....M not even half way maxed....this event looks like a waste of money....Non og players needs coins not skins.....No coin shower since last 2 months.....m not buying anything except the brawl +!!....There used to be offers like 199 gems for 12000 coins....havent seen that since like 6 months....Plzz ask devs if they intentionally dont want us to have coins?....Even if we spend money?

Here's the problem As a f2p i got 1 megabox per 3 days, and the event is only for 19 days, which mean i will be able to get only 7 box(with the free on in the shop) and that's not enough for the hyper skin, only if don't get lucky. The drop chances are pathetic. Image spending 80 gems for 2 boxes and get only 100 coins and 50 pp.
