I have over 5000 hrs. in The Division 2 and I've been yearning for something new. I will be playing The first Descendant until Warhammer Space Marine 2 drops. I am looking to completely remove myself from playing Division 2. I hope those two games keep me occupied enough to forget about The Division 2.

Shits getting ridiculous. No other "grind-n-build" game like it. I'm not trying to redo it every 4 months though. Given the glitches, bugs, punishments for exploiting their f*** ups, and renamed garbage gear, just not worth it to me any more. I'm still trying to stay active in the game but for me the fact is 6 ftc's and one more solid player for a 2 hr shit show sounds more fun than any other aspect of it.

Not going to lie. I put Division 2 on the back burner going all the way back to Allen Fireteam Elite. Just having fun doing a grind that matters in game. I still play for a few minutes at a time in DC but, it feels like my motivation is just gone.

Div 2 died faster than div 1. Ive only come back to div 2 in the last 3 months and its gotten worse every update. I got onnlast night and the rifles and light machine guns have no audio I thought it was me but apparently its the game. Ive had not a single exotic drop at all and ive run the countdown and bounties for hours the only way ive got any exotic is from caches. So I dont know if they changed that because if thats a thing I see why people are mad. Its a 5 year old they bugs and issuse they are having shouldn't be happening notn5 years after its out. Its a joke of a game at this point...but like you said I enjoy it

I have 300+ hrs in the Division2, 400hrs in Div1 when it came out. After taking over a year off, I am back at it. This video is spot on. We need new specialized tiers, new named weapons and NEW LOCATIONS. The grind gets old fast. Game modes are not as big as new story and places with things to start a new build. Just more thoughts.

Well said, I agree with you! All I want is a playable game, some new.missions, and some interesting apparel events... And difficulty levels increased by way of more enemies, not the lazy way of making bullet sponge enemies (should be easy to implement surely)... I would gladly pay £15 to £20 each season for some new missions. That would be £45 to £60 a year income from each player, not including income from those buying apparel, skins and level ups. I certainly won't pay for season pass for the seasonal character, seasons 2.0, stupidity. Ridiculous idea. Game had so much potential, but they keep making it worse... They have so many interesting places on the map to make new missions. Not sure why they don't utilise the unused buildings and interiors they already have. Or make single player PvE on raid and incursion maps. Could have an open world mission that takes you through every location on the map, as one whole massive mission, with checkpoints, could take days or weeks to complete. And let us re colour our own clothing, that would be better than this guff. More tie ins with things like the Resident Evil event, that was good. More tie ins, outfits, masks, trophies from other Ubi titles AC GR, R6, WD, SC etc would be awesome. And more rogue outfits for us. I'd pay for all that, multiple times a year. Simples! 🤷 But I won't continue to pay for a broken game, that keeps getting worse with each fumbled update, and no new content, except for a tightly controlled, 'curated', start-from-scratch temporary character. Not wasting my time on that. People have Descent to play if they want to play like that. They need to communicate with us too, their continued silence is ridiculous. Good luck Agents 🫡

Agree about the DLC's. Would have been great if they had offered meaningfull new content a few times per year. For example: Why not make the classified missions available for everyone and pimp them a little in terms of difficulty? Sort of mix the Summit and bounties. For example, lock 1 district in the map on a monthly basis and create a challenge in which you have to clear a string of buildings (those that are not used in the regular missions) to open that district up again.

Massive entertainment already knew when this game launched, that they were fresh out of ideas. There is nothing more that they can add to this universe. This is why they went to do another game like Star Wars. Which I’m not buying. I can tell you that I will never buy a division 3. Because they really don’t care about the gaming community, they just want new players. The first game had balancing issues and bugs, and this one is the same and worse. But the problem here is that they already knew this. This is why I think it was three or four years ago. They said that they were going to end support for this game. And and people were extremely upset and that’s why they continued under a different management because everybody went to Star Wars. I am happy playing games like Remnant 2 and Starfield. The state of the game has gotten so bad that the devs can't even push a simple patch without creating more bugs. I wish they could come up with more raids and/or incursions for the other half of the hostile factions (Outcasts, Hyenas, and the Rikers). The biggest thing that irks me is the developer's silence. A lot of my friends and clan members have jumped ship and started playing First Descendent.

If PvP was actually alive, a rankin system would be alright... But the thing is, ranking systems in this game have always been plagued by cheaters.. Take division 1 as the prime example, they had leaderboards in there and the top 10 was pretty much always filled with cheaters for weeks.. It took the devs weeks, even months to actually ban those players to make leaderboards fair as people were missing out on cool outfits (Which they later added to the base game anyway after removing leaderboards).

I having trouble mustering the enthusiasm to play anymore. Crap loot, same stuff for 5 years with very few exceptions, buy my $20 cosmetics, endless bugs seemingly multiplying by the week. I love this game still come do my daily, weekly descent and shake my head at the current state. I recently playing Spider-Man 2 that i had put off since it's release. I'm about to do cyberpunk and elden ring DLC. I really really hope they revert this thing about removing the world tiers. I don't know much about it, but it seems like it broke too much, similar to Windows ME when they built windows on DOS and then tried to remove it after. I wish they'd just kept their business plan the same as when they did project resolve, we powered through that because NONE of this was discussed. You really think anyone would've kept on keeping on a year+ of that with this thing looming over them.... F NO! I feel betrayed like they had this on their own board and kept it from us to only spring at seemingly last second. Dirty dirty tactics if that was the case. Well... Developing and introducing new microtransactions like skins is way cheaper and time efficient than developing and introducing new playable / challenging content. They probably make more profit in mtx long term than in free and/or paid content. And that's why the content is kinda casual friendly but grindy to keep you in the game longer. Veterans will stay anyway (atleast most of them) and new players have lots of things to discover and "maximize". Events are introduced - like the current one - which give away free mtx to lure players into the shop and to spend money. As a company you don't need to develop the best game of the world. It just needs to be "good enough" to keep a steady player base. As a company all you want is to gain more market value - grow in profit... And if they have a product which can be milked they'll do it in the most cost and time efficient way they can. That's the world we live in. Sad but true.

Thanks you for help with raids. You and your group gave me great time long ago. Sub just now, I have no idea how Ive missed that. Sometimes after D1, Ive writen exactly same thing you just said. I dont mind to pay Up to 100€ every year for new content, story missions, DLC, new mode. As long as I Can continue to build my character, explore lore and so... What they have done now is step back, we are on the same place in story as we have been after finishing base D2, so 2 years od gameplay wasted. Talented people are gone, IT feels like there is no vision, no creative talent at all, both story and software-wise. What we got in WoNY is basicaly lore backstory to first game. Im expecting new character to be created to go back to Bronx, before timeline of first game, so it doesnt make sense to be there with D2 story character. The only thing I can say, live service isn't a new model. It's been around for at least 20yrs. All MMOs are "live service" and WoW has been around a long time...other MMOs are even older. But, yeah...I dont mind the seasonal character model. I log in and do daily and weekly projects and then I do other stuff with my day. What got me hooked since Division 1 was the chatavter customization with lots of cosmetics, then the whole game grew on me and when I moved to Division 2 it was good, different but with a similar feeling to the first game. Now the game is a total clusterfuck, bugs, unbalanced pvp in the DZ, is a POS and devs only got it worse with every new season and instead of throw us new real content like new events, new missions, new Conflict maps, rebalance the PVP in the DZ, they just wanna make us do the same shit over and over again with new mechanics that brraks the game even more and no one asked for

When they realized that it would take way too long to release a real finished game they came up with a new concept:... "life service". Life service is simply releasing an unfinished (beta) game with numerous updates. It's simply making money with an unfinished product. They started with the concept since they stopped making hard copies for their games and the introduction of the DRM (Digital Right Management). Before the introduction of the DRM, there were dedicated servers on the internet where you could rent a server with an X number of slots to run whatever game you like to play with others. With the introduction of the DRM that wasn't possible anymore. It's a simple game of monopoly and greed, the one who controls everything makes the money and "life service" is a less greedy and aggressive name for the idea of unfinished beta games with ongoing updates. We are just stupid enough to pay for it. And that is the result of a working marketing strategy. Imagine if they would release Div1 and 2 on a hard copy with all these bugs, glitches, issues. Everyone would blame them for releasing a game that doesn't work. People would stop buying the game(s). With the so called life service they don't have that problem anymore. If the game doesn't work properly their response starts mostly with check your connection and your ports. Does your hardware meet the requirements for the game? Did you install the latest drivers etc etc. In other words... don't blame us, check your hardware and software first. Do you really own the game you purchased?? Not really because you don't have a hard copy! You can't play the game on a server of your own preference (without cheaters). The game is in the cloud.... their cloud. Not your cloud! It's like Klaus Schwab already said on the WEF: you own nothing and you're happy... 😂😏

You know if seasons was introduced with new content like a raid for your main or some new countdowns then people wouldn't have been as mad. Probably though they already invested massive dev time into making this and walking it back is going to cost them even more in dev time which is probably money they don't have to use. The main issue here is which a change like this they should have talked about the idea with the community before investing in making it a reality. But they probably didn't' want this feedback because rehashing content is easier them making new content. Like imagine if they came out and said hey were are thinking about this season idea and then people said no thanks raid please and they actually pivoted development before starting a bunch of it. What a day that would be. Its like devs that don't want the feedback that we want new content not reused old content so they dont even ask.

Nah, some games came out many content creators called Division 2 Killers like Anthem? Outriders? etc... Now I wouldn't compare Division 2 to First Descendant. Atm it is pointless to play in a clan because there is no clan xp. We lost that reward. We lost XP in the open world, another lost reward. The season pass daily we get 700k but that is lost too. If Div 2 made a survival mode, I and 1,000's of others would pay well over 100 USD for that alone.

I agree with what you’re saying. I’ve been playing since the beta on div2 and I’ve been playing div1 shortly after it launched. The division is the only game I go back to often. My “opinion” is their updates or new content seems pretty lazy to me. I mean they’re just giving the bare minimum to apprise the base. How long were we led by our dicks thinking a whole new division in heartland was coming, coming, coming only to be told , no we’re cancelling it. For what a year now we’ve been told about Brooklyn. I love this game but damn it man. I own more UBISOFT than any other 1 studio and they are pretty much all the same games except for a small few. I’ll keep playing The Division 1 and 2 but it’s getting old real quick

Yep, SHD lvl 12k ive grinded every bit of it, PVE n PVP, yes give us DLC, i love this game so much ill buy that new map, new gun w/ a skin attached to it.... But its the same ol mission's same spawn, invaded or not, when they do come out with a new brand and its spectacular they'll nerf it..... Heck ill even take them fixing the audio glitch on LMG's (can't hear them firing) the .....just give us something other than lip service..... I wish people would realize that Heartland was canceled because massive knew players would leave div 2 and go to Heartland. Redstorm helmed and fixed dov 1 while massive ran off and started work on div 2. Red storm deserves to take over this franchise. They can give us what massive did not. Massive is only on this property because they are cheap for ubisoft to develop a game. In actuality massive is costing more money because eventually someone has to be paid to clean up massive's mess. I'm a day-one player of both Division 1 and Division 2, and I still play the game today. Unfortunately, this video is spot on-there's really nothing new to do in Division 2, which is sad because the game is incredibly unique. Compared to this new game "The First Descendant," Division 2 is far superior IMO. I hope they either give us more content or move on to Division 3 so us veterans have something to look forward to. I've already uninstalled The Division 2 from my PS5. The moment I heard that they were introducing seasonal characters and we are only allowed to play with our mains the last 2 weeks of a season? That's when they lost me. I've put too much time with my main character to start over every season. I see through their bullshit and as a 42 year old gamer I say take that nonsense to someone else. These developers don't respect my time or anyone else's so why should I continue playing this game. Literally no one asked for this shit to begin with and they can all kiss my ass. I'm fed up with their bullshit. I don't care for the current season and I'm not even trying to play it. The only way I would reinstall if they change course and get rid of seasonal characters but I really don't see this happening. It was a good run while it lasted and this is really putting me on the fence to even purchase The Division 3!

This game is hot garbage now. They 100% screwed their fan base. There are more bugs now then 1 month ago. The worst part is the feeling of not progressing at all. control points reset so the feeling of winning or accomplishment is non existent.

A good change for once would be to put all these recent paywalled outfits behind doing ingame stuff, at least people have something to play for then... But other than that, yeah.. There is no reason to play it, there is no content.. Nothing... Seasons aren't content, seasons are just checklists with repetitive shit.. Repetitive in probably one of the worse ways, people say destiny is repetitive but at least that's repetitive in a better way... Since there is actually stuff to do in that game where as it isn't in division 2..
