A lot of times we assume players know the consequences of their actions. But most of the time they really don't. Do you teach your players how to actually earn playing time?
This is a great reminder here by Coach Marty that even at the College level you have to teach players everything. This also makes those conversations very structured when you have someone complaining about not getting playing time. What do your players need to do to earn playing time?
