Now THAT is amazing! I think the level of situational awareness most people have is zero. They approach it like it is CoD and yes there is situational awareness there, but it is more reliant on pings boops and other toddler things to get them to look. In DayZ people need to check all corners and check up above. If a game has a mechanic of vaulting up or climbing, dang sure I am gunna check! Not looking at a situation of left over players and just going in is how you get a nice restart. Another thing is people run this on potatoes so when they run at 30 fps they are literally missing the frame(s) that they may be able to spot you. If they lowered their graphics settings to competitive levels ( all on poor and low at highest res) they would have high enough FPS to spot you. I know I would have. Excellent lessons you made! Insanity!
