I was at that game. September 2, 2006 and it was the first time that had ever happened. Grand Slam on the first big league pitch. Has happened once since though. Daniel Nava did it in 2010. Little known fact... that was Edinson Volquez's much-hyped first big league start as well. Both Volquez and Kouzmannoff were September call-ups and made their debuts that night. For 3 straight years Ranger fans were hearing about how Volquez was gonna be the next Nolan Ryan. It was nearly a sell out crowd that night to see Edinson make his debut. He didnt make it out of the first inning... but we got to see this bit of history being made so there's that.
