Jordan is a 2000s boomer and I watched the game in the 2000s. Within his perspective he predicate his view of the game off eye test and base level stats. I’ll be honest about the manu debate. I think he’s one of the few spurs that without Pop would have had a great career because of his skill and in his prime he was really athletic too. You also need some context. It’s a total different thing when im talkin about ranking players of all time .. not when im talking about a playoff series!! @dy11788 күн бұрын
@@drenchmansports my point is that based on your logic Giannis’ “lack of skill” should be irrelevant due to his dominance on the court. You can’t penalize one player for that and not another. @@dy1178 i have him on the list , so i obviously think he is dominant. The context is totally different. And so is the criteria .. does that make sense ?

For the people that believe Kevin McHale is better than AD, I'd like to hear why. Because AD is better than Kevin at every aspect of basketball except post-game (which AD is also great at). AD is a better scorer, rebounder, shooter, ball-handler, and defender. AD also has more accolades in a shorter time. Kev having 2 more rings shouldn't bridge that gap.
@NothingElseMattersJM8 күн бұрын
Probably the efficiency and they’re giving him bonus points since he didn’t have the ability to take as many shots as he could on that team. Also, Kevin McHale was an 80% ft shooter so he definitely could shoot lol. I’m just playing devils advocate. I think AD is better but McHale is slept on

Tim Duncan carrying in 03 continues to get more traction for bizarre reasons, the gap between Tim Duncan and the second best player was astronomical yes. The team played basketball well with good perimeter defence and different players stepping up in playmaking and scoring in different games. The run was also weaker than people like to believe the 03 lakers were worse than the previous 3 years Kobe hurt and his chemistry with Shaq off. Horry not hitting the bright side of a barn, role player injuries. The mavs their best comp had Dirk go down. A lot of stuff happened and the gap between Duncan and the second best player is one of the biggest ever on a title team. Not a carry though (stop translating lack of second option to lack of help)

What is this argument. When we’re talking about Giannis, we talk about his ability on offense. Saying that his game isn’t skilled because he doesn’t get touched as much is crazy. He does get touched and it doesn’t do anything. Another thing, regardless if players are allowed to touch him or not, it still won’t take away from the fact that Giannis in my opinion is one of the best transition players as a big man in history. His ability to penetrate the ball at his size is crazy which is something most bigs can’t do. Getting to the rim, playmaking ability, improving post play. It’s all a great skill for him. If he wasn’t using his size and wasn’t being a big man then we would be looking at him like how everyone views Ayton. A big that doesn’t want to play big. My PF list: 1. Tim Duncan. . . . . 2. I'll hold it against malone why they never won. He was a choke artist. 97 finals he looked like he was gonna crap his pants in all the close games. He wasnt ready for the moment. Missed free throws for rge game and even beyond that sucked in big moments . Missing critical free throws in the playoffs is not uncommon at all fir malone either. Having said all that hes up there on the list due to resume, accomplishments, and longevity. But lets keep the narrative clear. When the going got tough malone got running.
