The panel just had a conversation last week about maintaining a progressive viewpoint on the advancement of basketball over time, both Bob and Chill said almost immediately that they're not stuck in the past, they're fully accepting of today's NBA and they don't let bias affect their perspective. Yet, they just went up here today and completely ignored/dismissed how good LaMelo is and how valuable he is to that team, simply because he doesn't play a brand of basketball they like, that completely disrespects and contradicts the discussion they just had last week. And they wonder why people call them haters and always say they're bias. If everyone is saying the same thing about you over the span of almost a year, don't you think at some point you should take some time to reflect and think, "you know, maybe there's some truth to this", but they're both too stubborn to do that.

Anyone that thinks speaking objectively is hate needs to grow up...respectfully. Jordan (who is also up here defending lamelo) said it himself Melo does tend to play bad basketball at times. We all know what is going on in Charlotte rn this team got more holes than a cheese grater. We can all acknowledge the fact that Melo isn't in the best situation or even a favorable one, but that still doesn't give him the excuse to be inefficient and a bad decision maker at times.

Bob and Chill were not criticizing Melo in this stream, they were invalidating his impact and what he does for this team because he doesn't play the "right" way. How many times has Chill said he doesn't like his point guard taking a lot of shots? How many times has Bob completely disrespected and disregarded James Harden and Luka because he doesn't like they're playstyle, while praising other players who are objectively worse over them simply because they're not a "grenade launcher" or "shot chucker"? Jordan is the definition of a contradiction, months ago he came on here and said that AI was a better scorer than Kobe because even though they both score at a high level, what AI was doing is more impressive because he's smaller. But, now he's telling us that LaMelo Ball is better than Jalen Brunson because even though they're both playing at a high level, what LaMelo is doing is more impressive because he's taller. Then, 10 minutes later, said that if two guys are doing the same thing, he's always going to take the guy that's taller, but that logic was nowhere to be found in the AI/Kobe debate and nobody on the panel thought to bring that up?

The biggest issue with Bron is that he's no longer a legit closer and he's attacking the rim less now. His 3 ball has fallen off a cliff. His legs looks heavy now. He looks too gassed out late in 4th qtrs. The Lakers need to have the ball in AD's hands more, and Bron's hands less. JJ knows this, he can see the terrible sloppy TOs that Bron makes, his lack of effort and energy getting back on defense, his phantom foul complaining on the offensive end, and his horrendous +/- on the court.
