one thing to mention is that the last play (a hail mary) against LA chargers was actually a great pass, tee higgins had a shot to make the grab. I feel bad for burrow, chase, and hendrickson, because they are all so talented, but coaching and bad management hold their super bowl chances back. Hope burrow doesnt become the next andrew luck, constantly putting the team on his back and having to do everything he can. back to that super bowl loss in 2022, burrow was driving them down the field to tie it, but on 4th and 1 burrow had no chance against aaron donald. tbh i wonder if burrow will play so well they cant not give him the mvp

Remember how good we were talking about it being at the start of the year when they played some under center andbefore they went completely 1 dimensional on offense? Remember when we were talking about how much better it looked when Burrow went out last year and Browning came in an played under center? Remember how they lost the first 3 games of the season because Burrow's offense couldn't do anything? Remember how they lost the first game against the Ravens because Burrow threw a pick 6? Remember how they let the Ravens back into the game in the second game due to a costly fumble in their own zone? Remember how last week the defense gave the ball back to Burrow TWO TIMES to control the game and finish it, but he failed both time to do anything meaningful with the ball? There's 6 wins the offense has failed to grab right there. Do you remember that almost all of their losses have been by one possession, and that the opposing defense played as "bad" as the Bengals, but the difference was an offense/QB that didn't choke and came out ahead? Remember the statlines where the offense's entire production is based of Burrow throwing the ball and this offensive line cannot live up to the demands of the offense. No Oline ever could and the Bengals could never and will never build an Oline that will because you would need all pros all across the oline just to make this offensive line decent under the demands of this shotgun spread concept being run 88% of plays.

Also last week the Bengals got into scoring range twice and the kicker missed both kicks. I think you might be misremembering things because in game 3 the Bengals put up 33 points with a missed kick in there too. The first week was completely on the offense, though. I'll give you that one. The defense giving up 35+ twice to the Ravens is not on Burrow at all. Week 2 & 3 the Bengals put up 25 & 33 respectfully. This whole team is flawed, and there have been issue everywhere. But the defense giving up 30 per game is problem number 1.

@@kylelay6858 I may be misremembering the first Ravens game being a pick 6, but something happened I'm quite sure that led to a turnover in their zone that was Burrow's fault. And those other points in the other games you mentioned were garbage time fluke points to make it closer. This offense should easily be exceeding 30 points a game with the amount of investment (both draft capital and cash) in it. And again, these are 1 score games, the other defenses aren't playing particularly better in the majority of their losses. Their offenses are rising to the occasion. The Bengals offense is not. They made Burrow the highest paid player in the league. They've invested a lot of valuable picks in their WR Corps. They spent top 4 round picks on TE and LG. They just spent another 1st round pick on RT. They brought in large contract LT, OC and RG. They liquidated their defensive cornerstones expecting this offense to carry and they haven't. This team would be one and done in both post season appearances if it weren't for miraculous defensive plays. And yet we keep talking up how great Burrow is and he's not getting it done. They were bad last year and he got injured as they were starting to look up. Browning maintained that optimistic arc and turned a bad start into a winning season. This year they started bad again and have remained bad. Burrow is still in there driving the team and they're still losing. Something isn't adding up with Burrow.
