I really appreciate the way this is organized so you see the first time a gag is set up and then later on repeated so people who haven’t seen the entire playthrough aren’t confused by the joke. Ngl, this video made me laugh so hard my throat hurt. I have to drink water. I needed this

Rewatching these, since Playframe is my comfort food, and 21:00 HAS to be one of the top 5 funniest moments on this channel. I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard, and even woke my wife. The timing couldn't be written better. The way the two sentences follow each other...the setup, short pause, and deadpan punchline is comedy perfection.

Those were temporary names. They’ve been officially named now: 111 - Roentgenium 112 - Copernicium 113 - Nihonium 114 - Flerovium 115 - Moscovium 116 - Livermorium 117 - Tennesine 118 - Oganesson

They weren't allowed permanent names until someone could make them without blinking-after all, they all have short half-lives, so if you make a chunk and blink it'll all be gone before you can open your eyes. Unfortunately, making big elements requires a particle accelerator, and those make BIG flashes of light whenever the particles bump into each other, so people kept blinking at the wrong time.

So, as much as I generally enjoy Dan's KZbin content, did anyone else find that bit from the first Iceborne episode... I don't know, kind of mean-spirited? Like, I get it, not everyone likes the Handler, and that's a perfectly valid opinion to have (I'm personally rather fond of her, and I think they characterized her as best they could given the circumstances, but that's beside the point), but doing an intro bit in a story expedition, most of which are fairly dialogue-heavy but in particular the one introducing the expansion, and acting annoyed that she's cutting you off with chatter and exposition just comes across as a bit petty to me. I might have found it funny if it had happened organically but in this case it felt a bit staged, like a sort of "ha ha look how annoying the Handler is" gag rather than a genuine attempt to do an into being cut off by unexpected dialogue, which paints the voice lines as more annoying and disruptive than they really are. I don't know, maybe I'm being a prude, it just made me feel oddly uncomfortable then and it's doing the same thing now.
