How can a girl at the bottom of her high school class ever hope to capture the attention of the smartest, most popular boy? Ha Ni (Jung So Min) is smitten with Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong) from the moment she lays eyes on him on the first day of school. He is the total package - tall, athletic, good-looking, and the envy of all the students because he always gets a perfect score on all his exams. Bong Joon Gu deserves something out of all of this. He's hard working, has heart, and actually cares about who he likes and is more of a man than some of the other characters on this show who walk around acting like they're god's gift to the world.

This is my first K-Drama (and this is my first comment on this drama) and I've got to say, even though it's so cheesy at times, it has always made me cry during the sad scenes . I'm in love with Hani's character, such a sweet and determined person (Though a bit stubborn and very dim, but very cute) ! I wish to have someone like Joongu, who's always looking out for me and loving me unconditionally, but I hope that it's someone whose love I can return . I couldn't stop my tears at that part where he says "Hani, I'm trying my best" and taps the pancake/omelette and tugs at its "cheeks" . Such a sweet, unappreciated character . 😭❤️

If you liked Goon Ju’s character then I recommend watch Boys over Flowers. You will love the character of Yoon Jihoo. He is not flawed like Goon Ju but is more perfect than the main lead. The actor is the same who played Seung jo in this drama but the character is opposite of it. He is lovable and very beautiful looking in that drama.

BSJ did not refuse when Hani followed him around. He kept smile secretly. Means he enjoyed that Hani tailed him. BSJ actually did what Hani wanted him to do, like cooking, teaching her, and becoming a doctor. His life so empty when Hani was not around. Therefore he came to the tennis club to see Hani. He just the type of boy who can not express his feeling freely. He cares to Hani actually. He like her since he pinched Hani's cheek during the high school competition
