If RDR 2 miss some of those details from RDR 1 the fans start complaining about it. Even If RDR 2 has more details than RDR 1 the fans start complaining about the game being too realistic. So Moral of the Story is that everyone will complain about you even if you done something great in your life so just ignore them. Not many game prequels/sequels are as great as RDR 2 my friend.

Nah, this video so subjective. Imo, only 2-3 your notice is really better in rdr1, like John's face, water animation in that metall thing.. But others just subjective, especially about horse, when you call him. For me realism is better, I really enjoyed while just walking in nature, and exploring something while walking to my horse

Youi forgot another detail in RDR1 which RDR2 doesn't have: Sometimes, you will heard your enemies's Wilhelm scream when you killed them in RDR1. There's no Wilhelm Scream in RDR2.

Most of those things are total nitpicking and have to completely disagree with last two points. I liked RDR2 deadeye more. Its way more cinematic. And the horse calling thingie is actually nice detail. Adds to realism if your horse cant magically teleport.

Here's another detail in RDR2 that were also in RDR1 but nobody pointed it out yet: Sometimes when you killed your enemies while they are still riding their horses, their legs will get stucked on the horse saddle for awhile. It was a detail in RDR2 but it happened in RDR1 too albeit much more rarely in RDR1. I've seen it in my RDR1 gameplay as well.

You don't break horses like that in real life. The water effect when you look at the clouds when it rains ruins immersion. Drain Pipes usually don't have that much water. and yeah, RDR2 has much simpler parkour. The glass stuff was done for aesthetic reasons. The cart physics is not as advanced because I suppose they wanted the players to have more convinience. RDR2's horse rearing looks more realistic and accurate. And yeah, john was very downgraded. Dead eye itself is a very unrealistic thing, but in RDR1, john shoots soo unbelieveably fast, it is impossible. While in RDR2, it's a bit slower for realism. And RDR2 probably wanted to make the whistle feature more realistic, even though the idea of whistling to make your horse come to you is unrealistic at best.

@@Rubrasileiro It is absolutely not. Red Dead Redemption 2 is vastly superior to RDR 1 in almost every way. Some of the features can be better in RDR 1, even the Ragdoll that Red Dead 2 uses actually has some weight and frictions behind it. It's not like floating in the air like you are on the moon. Shooting Ragdolls can be better in RDR 1 but still it's very debatable. In Red Dead Redemption 2, everything just feels bigger, more real, and a lot more alive compared to Red Dead Redemption 1. The world’s packed with these tiny details, from animals reacting to your presence to unpredictable weather changes, which really makes you feel like you’re part of the Wild West. The graphics are on another level. Every sunrise, every leaf rustling, it’s so visually detailed that you can almost feel the dust under your boots. The character movement’s more natural, too, and the animations make the world look lifelike. Then there’s the story. RDR2 digs into the backstory of the Van der Linde gang and gives you a complex, relatable protagonist in Arthur Morgan. You’re not just playing through missions; you’re watching Arthur grow and seeing the gang dynamics shift. Plus, characters like Dutch and John Marston are developed even more here, adding layers to the story that carry over into RDR1. Gameplay’s also leveled up. You have realistic survival elements now, like managing your health and your horse’s condition, cleaning your guns, and even deciding how Arthur looks. The AI is smarter, too, so NPCs react more naturally to your choices. Sometimes they even remember what you’ve done before, which was pretty limited in the first game. RDR2 also has tons of side activities. You can hunt, fish, play poker, go treasure hunting-all kinds of things that make the world feel like it’s full of possibilities. And then there’s the combat. It’s more refined, the gunplay’s smoother, and you have weapon maintenance to think about. The Dead Eye targeting system got a nice upgrade too, giving you more options in a fight. Another big thing? The map. RDR2’s map is vast, with everything from snowy mountains to murky swamps. Each area feels unique, with different animals, plants, and weather patterns, which adds a ton of variety. Plus, horses feel like real partners this time. You can actually bond with your horse, and if you lose it, it hits hard. They’re not just a means of getting around. Lastly, RDR2’s a prequel, so you get this whole new perspective on the original story. Seeing the gang’s rise and fall gives RDR1’s story even more depth. It’s like watching the lead-up to a big, tragic finale that you already know is coming, which makes it hit harder. So, overall, RDR2 just builds on everything RDR1 started and pushes it further, turning the experience into something a lot richer, more immersive, and honestly, unforgettable.
