Golf games have used 3 click swing since before controllers even had sticks. I have no idea where this stigma came from but it's not right.

I use the 3 click because the thumb stick is unreliable especially if your thumb stick has stick drift,with the 3 click it’s still very challenging to get the timing perfect and you actually know it’s you fucking up and not the thumb stick

Yeah I don't get it either, but I'm disabled so the 3 click is the only way I can play the game competitively so I hope they don't get rid of it.

I only play career mode, so dont really care much about 3click. But havent your 3click scores in the past been absolutely ridiculous? I remember watching a past TGC Tours 3click tournament you did that you almost won and the scores were crazy.

Still no match or no Turned Based Stroke online play... My friends are pissed at me, they won't play in this format, really don't like everyone at once. We tries 2K and besides crashing for 3 months , we couldn't finish. We all play 3 click & 2K 3 click is a fail compared to classic we played for 20 yrs 2K has no magic (course designer greatest asset) & graphics look like my Vic 20... Are they going to keep releasing updates or they going to leave it hanging like EA Rory???

So youd agree with NBA games one player playing on begginer shooting mode and the other one pro? Or Warzone but you dont need to aim just time your shots when theyre around? Not a matter of playing as 3 click if we want to be lazy bums like them its the point that it takes half if not more then half of the skill of the game away. Its not fun playing 3 click and mastering a game after one day of practice. Timing and stick required for swing stick, ONLY timing for 3 click. Half of the game is taken away for 3 clickers, just let them play eachother in ranked so its fair.

You take 2 average players and give one 3 click and one swing stick, 3 click is going to dominate cause at the end of the day tapping a button on a mark is easier than moving a stick back and forth straight while keeping tempo.

Three click is trash. Your "I holed out he didn't" isn't the point you think it is. You have to get lucky hole-out type shots to be able to keep up with a three clicker, it's clearly not fair. "Play three click then," we don't want to play three click we like the harder mechanic, but shouldn't be at a disadvantage because of that. The real answer is "make three click play each other."

Just got the game... 3 click on pro difficulty is not exactly easy. I kind of feel like the good players on stick would be more consistent than the good players on 3 click... just my initial take in a couple days of playing.

3 click on pro is much easier, I tried it once and hit nearly everything straight perfect. Swing stick requires a lot more skill and is way more satisfying when you pull off straight shots.

Okay, so I play on PC with KBM and here is my opinion on 3-click. UNTIL any of you controller players go use swing stick with a gawdamn mouse, and tell me that it’s a good setting, I will continue using 3-click til the day I die. I don’t give a FK if anyone thinks it’s “cheating”. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to drag a mouse up and down and have it be accurate reliably.
