I appreciate how you followed up on your criticism of Insoymniac's SM2 concerning their inclusion of braindead civilian NPCs by laying out how their exclusion in Arkham City was executed so much better. I feel like had Web of Shadows been made by a triple A studio and not been rushed (it was made in under a year) they'd have leaned into the exclusion of civilian NPCs element especially after the symbiote invasion.

Arkham Asylum was already great, but Arkham City was definitely better. A bigger map, more missions to complete, new villains, a darker story, new gadgets, everything that you'd want from a Batman game

Yeah no other game that wants to have this combat gameplay comes close, I hated the Witcher 3 combat for how repetitive it is, The lack of moves geralt does in gameplay doesnt even come close to the variety of gadgets and moves batman can implement in a fight, assassins creed as well, just hit the same button and spam parry until they out.

Funny because I played Arkham city last(arkham origins on ps3 first then knight on ps4 then asylum on switch and city on switch) and honestly out of all the 3 games(all amazing) I find arkham city to just be a tad above the rest, it feels the most perfect in all areas, as a singular game I truly think it is like a top 3 for me

If there was best just less riddler trophies(like 100 less imo) a few of the side content was more fleshed out(the deadshot “bossfight”) and the catwoman integration was more seemless, arkham city would be the closest thing I know to a “perfect” videogame

After Playing Gotham Knights recently with Turning off my brain, I went back to Arkham City and even collected 400 riddler trophies for the first time just to complete Riddler's side mission. Doing same for Arkham Knight now. These games already peaked back in 2011 and 2015🔥

Freeze boss fight is good but it’s kinda dumb because they have no reason to fight. Batman just refuses to find his wife who was taken by joker but he has to go to joker anyway

I just finished arkham city and it was not as good as I remember. The side quests are pointless and some of the riddler trophies become overly tedious. I'm quickly losing my desire to 100% it because it all seems pretty pointless.
