Tbh with some of the models that Rockstar has they could definitely make the best animal simulators. For example the owl is the best one I have ever seen. Or the snake and I don´t even have to talk about the horses

In rdr2 the cat is just one of the many animals in the game, the game never focuses on them, they're just set dressing, part of the world building, all in the background. Strays entire focus was the cat, it's your playable character, all the focus is on the cat, it's on your screen the entire time. Also have you watched the making of stray? Look it up on youtube. They were really meticulous. They had cats in the office for the entire production, they had cats for motion capture, cats for modeling the character, and bunch of more shit. And even after all that made a worse cat in every way than Rockstar who probably didn't even use a single cat for making their model

@@hustla818 I still find this to be an unfair comparison. They probably didn't have the resources, nor the intent, to make a cat like RDR2. Rockstar has access to 3D modeling and animation programs that are far better than the ones of Stray. They also probably have 3D modelers and animators that are more skilled. And, once again, Stray isn't realistic. It's cartoony, and has a simpler style. RDR2 is meant to be realistic.

The reason why you couldn't kill anyone with the shark, is because normally there aren't any sharks in the game. For some reason they added 1 in that mod. But they didn't give it an atrack animation, cause that animation does not excist in the game files.
