It got banned because the dev used copyrighted assets without permission and refused to remove or replace them.

Not true. It was originally removed from Steam because of this but the dev did eventually make the required changes to have the game listed again. Fast forward a few months and the dev voluntarily removed the game from Steam due to stress/pressure of being the only person working on a game that went viral.

The dev used copyrighted and inbuilt objects and just put them together, along with the people and animations, then sold it for money which is not legal and was found out. The idea behind it was decent, clearly inspired by Getting Over It. Which also just uses freely available assets to actually make a point. But there was so much lack of execution in this game, made just for profit as a game for streamers and youtubers, which worked and went viral right before it was banned. Simply a lazy prototype. Dev would have made so much money if everything was original or at least bought legally from the start.

It was originally removed due to copyright issues but the developer made the required changes and got it listed again. Months later the dev voluntarily removed the game from Steam owing it to stress, being a solo dev of a game that went viral.

If you liked this one Kev, try a very similar game in a 70's b-movie style with actual enemies you can fight: "The Deadly Tower of Monsters". It's fun. There is a DVD style commentary playing the whole time and they do no shut up, which adds to the ambience. I enjoyed it.

8:04 oh god, no wonder bungie is STILL known for their quick and effective creation of lens flares… oh wait, nevermind… WAS, because the entirety collapsed and became a hollow husk. And greedy… if only those activition freaks didn’t work on destiny 1 then the core of bungie would be less greedy and less would want to acquire it so it couldn’t keep causing further corruption and wastes of resources and… just… I wish things didn’t change.
