I need to learn openings as well man, I'm often blindsided by some unfamiliar opening that forces me to maneuver into some hopeless position... Good game BTW! 1800 here we come :)

I'm making a video on the jobava with a lower rated player, it might be helpful to watch, and you could really get into it, hopefully it will release Saturday, but might be the following week if I can't get it finished before then

Why did you stop playing the black lion? (I’m considering learning it)

I just didn't get as great positions with it as I did in the Sicilian. I found it hard to get a really aggressive black lion, whereas the Sicilian I felt like I could get a really fun solid game almost every game

@@abhishekcherayaramal8261 I think it's a good opening to keep in your back pocket, but I wasn't the biggest fan
