Hello, I am the french guy of the second game ! It was such a fun game (but not a really well played one). It reminds me the quote "The winner of the game is the player who makes the next-to-last mistake" from Tartakower. Hope you'll reach soon the 2000 ^^

Throwing away a good position... Something I do a lot as well. Like shouting at my screen when I see someone else do it :)

That's a tough second game. You were playing very well. Chess is brutal. Literally one miss away from losing at all times.

Devastated for you. Everything was perfect. You were finding some really nice moves up until the blunder. Moving too quickly as you're well aware.

At 2:50, you generally want to take. If the positon is different ( for example nf6 instead of c5) then you want to play nce2 and c3. (Im also a Jobava player so dont worry lol)

Yes, I've seen other positions where I shouldn't take, but yeah, it's hard to remember all the nuances, I think I'll constantly be questioning if I should take a pawn on C5, it's a common question. So you're essentially saying, if they have pieces developed, don't take, if they don't have pieces developed, then do?

Mad how watching you play a game of chess has become part of my day as if I understand your tactics as a 200 Elo player 😅

I'm glad you're enjoying the series! I'm still trying to get better at explaining my ideas, I understand not everyone can see my thoughts, just as I cannot see grandmasters thoughts, but I'll try to remember to explain more! Thanks for making me a part of your day haha

EVERY TIME YOU OPEN A FILE check what's on either side of it. Same as CCT checks it should be automatic. Stops you falling to back rank/rook pins queen tricks

After ...Qxg1 you had Qa3! only move. I didn't even understand the idea without putting it on the board... Really difficult move to find especially after believing you lost all the advantage.
