The worst salt I ever got was from this one survivor. So I am a console gamer and my most played killer is ghostface. For this game I was playing with a slug build because I was trying to get value from his red addon for aura reading. First off the survivors send me to the game map. Not the worst map but very hard as a m1 killer with no gen defense. The game goes on and I am getting destroyed and just having fun and breaking most of the pallets. They finish the gens and I decide to finally hook someone I had down. I don’t even remember how they did it, but the other 3 survivors all managed to completely throw and I downed them all and started to hook them. I thought the game was over so, being a ghostface, after I hooked the last person I just started to crouch all around. I get messaged about being toxic for tbagging them while they are on hook, get told I only won because of my build, get told I don’t know how to spell (on console so I usually shorten words to type faster), get told that they weren’t complaining about my perks (they did), and that I should have just chased better and not slugged everyone I legit had like a 2 hour conversation with this person where they just kept being salty and trying to act so much better than me lol. Now to be fair, I was instigating them a bit, but it was just so hilarious how stupid they sounded. The best salt I have ever gotten out of this game.

i’ve rarely gotten survivor salt until i started playing myers. im a pig main, but i wanted to have a little more fun when it came to playing rather than just crouching and trapping. i decided to try my hand at a scratch mirror myers since i wanted to scare them and hide around corners. it wasn’t the best on the survivor end of it because after the first hook and one gen, they just kept fumbling around and not working on gens and just sort of ran around. i get a 4k and the sable (who gave up after 1st hook) immediately throws the “you’re a cheater!” ball. i politely explained what a scratched mirror myers is and that i could see their auras. apparently that made her very upset because i had message after message that i was toxic and that i was playing on “easy mode” with a couple slurs thrown here and there. i don’t usually like to throw pepper in an already salty survivor soup, but i told her that i barely even had to use my add on because nobody was healing one another and that she was just mad that she kept going down easiest out of all of them and gave up then moved on. also, im very aware that scratch mirror myers is not very fun to go against, but i like to play it for my own enjoyment.

Yeah, I dont like facing any form of Myers personally =( Seeing your aura? Frustrating. Insta killed at 0 hooks because they stared at a teammate? Unfair. Normal Shape just stalking and insta downing because he looked at you a bit? Unfun. But I can see the appeal of wanting to be a jumpscare killer, or an actual menacing threat (not like other killers aren't this, but that fear of being insta killed is something few other killers possess) so I can't blame people for wanting to play them. Just wish I could avoid those trials myself if possible T_T

@@feathero3 and that’s completely fair! apart from his adept and daily challenges, i rarely actually sacrifice when i play myers - just two hooks on each and let them go and maybe farm bp. i enjoy the ability to wait around corners just give people a scare and maybe injure them, but i do understand the frustration playing against a myers. however, i don’t think people being nasty to people who play tombstone/scratched mirror in particular is warranted. is it not the most fun play style on the survivor end? sure! though, those play styles are popular and as long as people who play like that aren’t being toxic first, i don’t see the need for people to be aggressive in the end game about it.

@@b0nesaww Nice to know there are other killers that do the 2 hooks each then let them go style of play =) Rare to find players like that. and yeah, no need to be nasty over it. I might voice my complaint of the playstyle in the end, but not at the player directly, and will still usually give the "ggs" if it was done fairly. More upset that the game was designed that way in the first place, not at players for wanting to participate in how it was designed.

When a killer is camping and a survivor is nearby the timer for the unhook stops. I get so mad at people in solo q for sticking around the hook like that because if I'm being camped I actually have a chance at saving myself. Aside from that tho I'm honestly shocked it took an hour and half to get salt. Survivors won't hesitate to DC or give the killer salt when they lose lol great video! Been missing DBD content from you 😅

It doesn't stop for just 1 person nearby. It just slows it down. The more people nearby though the more is slows it to almost a stop if 3 people are nearby.

The meter fills faster the closer the Killer is, but is slower when other Survivors are near (never becomes negative). Once the meter is full, the Survivor gets a prompt allowing them to escape the hook with 100% probability. Survivors who take this action gain Endurance for 15 seconds. This feature shuts off entirely once the Exit Gates are powered. As part of this system, The Cannibal can no longer hit a Survivor who has Endurance twice in the same 0.5 second timespan. I had someone be salty for my trying to get the RPD map achievement... they were being a casual Oni and not playing the game (i.e. They let us finish gens, didn't really interact in chases, etc.). It came down to the end to escape, and they chased me, and I panicked because it's the RPD achievement I'm trying not to die!! I pallet stunned them out of their charge once, out of the entirety of the game, and they messaged me for "Being a tryhard," and after my explanation, they still messaged me saltily. Will never understand DBD's toxic community, lol!

There is a bit more camping at times than I like to see from killers, but that's just a personal opinion, and even then you never do it too egregiously to the point that a rescue is impossible or forcing survivors to trade throughout the entire match. While I play trapper I always get ppl being salty but I play how they do, if they seem new and are easy to kill I will go easy and literally leave ppl on the ground to be picked up etc .. some of these ppl STILL teabag me even at the exit gate if I’ve let them get out .. I don’t get it .. if they play hard and are good loopers etc I play completely different and will not give any second chances. So many times as trapper I’ve had one on hook and catch all others coming in for saves as each steps in another trap 😂 .. with honing stone on it’s the end there. If that happens I pick one up and let them reset. I know and they know I won

See i rarely go against toxic survivors towards me, most thr time im playing killer( i dont play alot of killer) someone dcs on first down or something stupid or will face pull teamates in chase lol. I think honestly survivors are more toxic to eachother than the killer, the issues i come across with killer mains as a survivor is ill run them a bit then they get upset and make it their lifes mission to camp and tunnel lol. I had one game where i ran the killer for 5 gens, got hooked and was tunneled off pull, no issue 3 got out ggs, naw i had this kid message me for hours while im trying to play about how i was ass and should uninstall and off myself and how they wished they could mori me irl😂. Like survivor mains be mainly toxic to eachother and killer mains take the game wayyyyy to seriously. Obviously not everyone but high majority.
